For all of us students out there, not only is it that time of the semester where final tests and projects are sending our stress levels soaring, any day can have stressful parts and they can really test our patience and sometimes sanity.
There’s good news for anyone that suffers from this... there are ways to cope with stress and make those stressful feelings less frequent.
1. Eat healthy and energizing foods.
2. Set alarms.
3. Soak in some sun.
4. Chew a piece of gum.
5. Declutter your workspace.
6. Go on a 10-minute walk/bike/run/skate.
7. Eat breakfast every day.
8. Buy a plant.
9. Listen to music.
10. Take breaks.
11. Use your time wisely.
12. Manage your finances the way you should.
13. Find support in yourself and others.
14. Check your phone less, especially right when you wake up and right before bed.
15. Wake up 15-30 mins earlier than normal.
16. Give yourself a shoulder message.
17. Make something.
18. Laugh.
19. Drink 1 cup of coffee a day.
20. Take a vitamin C drink.
21. Pet an animal.
22. Talk to friends.
23. Organize a closet or cabinet.
24. Say hi to a stranger.
25. Make a list.
26. Take a yoga class.
27. Watch some TV.
28. Take a Netflix break, but set an episode limit.
29. Do something for someone else.
30. Get to school/work early.
31. Look at a work of art.
32. Throw a paper airplane.
33. Doodle.
34. Sleep.
35. Have a positive attitude.
36. Get yourself a new candle/car freshener.
37. Keep a journal.
