Sometimes we get so consumed in life that we often forget how precious and awesome our lives can be. So here is a post dedicated to appreciating the things that we often take for granted. When we start being grateful for everything, no matter how big or small, our lives start to shift. We become happier and more excited about our days. We don’t get torn down as easily. So take a moment and appreciate the little things no matter how small and random they may seem.

The way the grass smells after it’s cut

Wearing matching socks

The feeling of turning in an assignment one minute before it’s due

A ripe avocado

Looking at your grades and being surprised at how well you did

Turning on the radio to your favorite song playing

The Apple Music three-month free trial

Making it to your car right before it’s about to pour

Seeing your favorite band live

Being surprised by your bank account

Blasting throwback jams

Car rides with your whole squad

Making the perfect sandwich

Ice water

Finding something you thought you lost

Puberty

Having clean clothes

When your favorite store is having a massive sale

So take a moment, stand back and appreciate what you have. There is always something to be happy about no matter how big or small that may be.
