Everyone likes to create silly bucket lists every now and then. Sometimes their realistic, and sometimes they’re things that you could do if you lived the life of a millionaire. But either way, we still make the lists. Here are a few things that are on MY list that I believe everyone should also have on theirs.

1. Learn how to solve a Rubix cube

2. Crowd surf at a huge concert

3. Scuba dive/snorkel in the GA aquarium

4. SKYDIVE!

5. Finish a coloring book

6. Go zorbing

7. See the northern lights

8. Stay at an underwater hotel in Fiji

9. Go on a road trip with friends

10. Hike the Appalachian trail

11. Feed a giraffe

12. Step foot on all seven continents

13. Get in a taxi and yell "follow that car!"

14. Go parasailing

15. Learn how to surf

16. Be a part of a flash mob

17. Get a tattoo

18. Run a marathon

19. Visit all 50 states

20. Ride a camel in Egypt

21. Try every type of Pringle

22. Kiss a dolphin

23. Go to New York during Christmas time

24. Throw a dart at a map and travel to wherever it lands

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.
