5 Women That Are Beautiful Without Knowing It

There are many women who have influenced the world today, whether it be their way of words, their beauty, or even the way they have affected society today or even at the time they were alive with their total bad ass ways through life. What I love most about these women is they were themselves, even without hiding it. It's something wonderful.

Here are 5 women who were very beautiful their own way:

1. Marylin Monroe

Marylin Monroe is a very famous household name to many, personally one of my favorite parts about her was she wasn't completely perfect. Although the media put Marylin in this light, she actually had a few mental problems herself yet she was still determined to focus on her modeling and acting career. Mental illness was something that wasn't or maybe still isn't talked about seriously, Marylin, although dealing with mental illness and dealing with drug abuse she continues to inspire women with her words or even if she wasn't a size zero, that many women who weren't a size zero as well were beautiful no matter what. I feel as though this quote paints a picture of Monroe's influence.

"To all the girls that think you're fat because you're not a size zero you're the beautiful one, it's society that's not ugly."

2. Laverne Cox

Very well known for her role in "Orange Is The New Black", she has been a very strong loving voice to the transgender community. She has been a voice for those who may feel confused, sad, or even down on themselves for who they are. Laverne shows that it doesn't matter who you are, you are wonderfully beautiful the way you are. With her role in "Orange Is The New Black", she shows the world the struggle someone could have as a trans woman, and showing the strength she possibly had to others to reach out and show them they are beautiful the way they are.

3. Michelle Obama

While alongside her husband, Barrack. She helped the country in so many ways, she launched many things such as Let's Move!, The School Lunch Program, My Plate, etc. Helping out many American's of today with their weight issues (whether it be health related or someone needing a little push), empowering young women, as well as being an advocate for black people of the world. Michelle is great and continues to impact this country in last couple weeks as the First Lady, and I'm sure she will continue to more great things!

4. Emma Watson

This lovely lady who played Hermione for majority of her career in Harry Potter, has done a lot of wonderful things as an actress. She attended Brown and Oxford University, earning a degree in English. While becoming a UN Women Goodwill Ambassador, she even ALWAYS speaks out about equality and women's rights. She even cut all her hair off into an adorable pixie after she was finished filming the Harry Potter series, which inspired me to cut my own as well!

5. Ellen DeGeneres

Ellen DeGeneres has been a heart warming talk show host in which she talks about silly things, or even helping out people with a good heart. She seems to always be so comfortable on stage where she talks about just anything, she has been inspiration to me to be myself, or better yet dance it out! It makes me so happy that she voices Dory, while still being the funniest TV Show host I have ever seen. She's so loving and generous to others (not to mention her and Portia are GOALS!).

If you're looking for some women who totally are beautiful because of the things they do in their lives here may be some women who could influence you in a positive way! They make the world go around their beauty that they express out into the world.

You ladies are killing it! Keep being the beautiful humans that you are!

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.
