Growing up the youngest can be a bit challenging, either you're under the spotlight of your older sibling's or your constantly being picked on by them. Despite the bickering between all of us, you learn that being the youngest isn't so bad after all.
1. Your leftovers were gone the next morning
Whether it was a home cooked meal or from when you went out to eat, your siblings would come home from being out with their friends and eat all your leftovers. You would wake up the next morning to them denying that they ate it.
2. Your name was always called last
When your parents would yell everyone else's name before they could get to yours, you knew you were really in trouble.
3. You always knew that you could cry to get out of things
You would always run to mom or dad crying trying to get your siblings in trouble, then look at them laughing as they got yelled at your for picking on you.
4. You were dragged around with your sibling's friends
Whether it was after their practice or after school you always had to be dragged around with them because you couldn't stay by yourself quiet yet. You were known as their younger sibling, rather than by your own name.
5. You always got your way
You were always the "spoiled" one, whether it was getting to pick what was for dinner or getting a toy at Target just cause you asked for it.
Growing up the youngest....
you always had someone to look up to someone in more ways than one, you always had a ride matter what because they couldn't tell mom and dad no, you always had people there to support you at every game or dance recital, you could always count on them to make you laugh, even if they were the ones making fun of you, and lastly, you always had someone encourage you through every hard time throughout your life.
Despite all the horrible things your siblings did to you growing up, you have grown to realize that you have someone who will always protect you no matter what.
