Spring is in the air. Even if you're going to school, you should make sure you're taking advantage of the good weather since our years consist of long winters and short summers. Here are a couple of things you can do to take advantage of the good weather:
1. Take walks, skate, plays sports
Take a walk at Central Park, play some basketball with your friends at the park after classes, skate around your neighborhood--even if you sense your allergies kicking in. These activities will most likely help you de-stress since you're mind is almost always on your ten papers, five tests, and future planning.
2. Go to rooftops
Rooftops for brunch, lunch, or dinner when the weather is warm is the best way to make your day even better.
3. Make fresh juices or smoothies
The best part of the weather becoming warmer is the motivation to be healthier and happier. My personal favorite is making watermelon or strawberry smoothies before heading out for classes or after coming back from a long, tiresome day.
4. Road trips or short drives
Grab your car keys and roll down the windows for a short drive to your favorite park, hole-in-the-wall, or aimless location. Spontaneity is the best part of drives.
5. Go to local markets and festivals
New York City always has pop-ups, festivals like the Sakura Matsuri Cherry Blossom festival during the Spring.
