One Tree Hill is one of the most popular TV shows of all time. Netflix broke all of our hearts when they made the choice to remove it. One of the reasons people love OTH so much is because of “Naley.” Nathan Scott and Haley James are the perfect TV couple.
They proved that opposites attract and their young love lasted “always and forever” through the toughest times.
1. When Haley tells Nathan she’s pregnant and he holds a press conference about his decision to play at Duke
“As many of you know, I called this press conference today to announce where I'm planning to play basketball in college. I got a lot of great offers but it's always been my dream to play in Duke University, so ah... that's where I plan to go but... you know my father said that today will be the greatest day of my life, and you're right dad, it is but it's not because of basketball, you see today... Naley had many ups and downs, especially throughout their high school years. Haley came back to town and was staying with Nathan when she realized he was still wearing his wedding ring. We all died inside a little.
4. When Nathan saves Haley's life and then she saves Nathan's
In Season three, Nathan runs into the school to be with Haley after he learns a shooter is on campus. Later in Season four, Dante tries to hit Nathan with his car when a pregnant Haley steps in front of the car to save him.
5. Always and Forever
Naley’s signature line was “Always and Forever.” No matter what life threw at them, they always found a way to fight through it together and that’s really all anyone hopes for in a relationship.
Not to mention they had the sweetest wedding and the most iconic kisses in the rain.
Although I have ridiculously high standards now, thank you for teaching me what true love is. Best fictional relationship HANDS DOWN. I loved watching their fairytale unfold, and I can honestly say rewatching it never gets old.
