When we see certain situations on Tv that could happen in real life, sometimes we do a little bit more to prevent them or a little bit more to actually make them happen.

1. Being more Vigilant.
If you're a real crime show watcher, you'll instantly start watching your own back. Whether it's getting into a car , or walking down a ominous street at night. You''ll find yourself turning around a lot more often.
2. Sleeping with One Eye Open.
When you start to close your eyes when you're laying in bed, and you think you hear a noise or see an outline of something in the shadows. So you kinda just stay awake for a majority of the night.
3. Profiling Randoms On the Street.
If you're a fan of Criminal Minds, you'll try and attempt to profile behavior of random people you may see, but you'll end up failing. Miserably.
4. Low key looking up How to Become a Detective or FBI Agent.
Sometimes, you wonder how much time it would really be to become one of the characters you admire on TV. You'll look into the application process and even degree programs out of pure curiosity.
5. Running at the Speed of Light at Night.
You"ll definitely pull a spongebob when he's running to take out the trash. Your mind will play tricks on you and you might hear some imaginary footsteps behind you.
Crime shows are entertaining, and sometimes a bit shocking and scary to watch, but we might never realize how much they affect us until it is pointed out to us. Hopefully, you can relate to these top five things if you are a crime show fanatic. If you can't, get watching! Starting with shows like Criminal Minds, Law and Order SVU, or CSI. Trust me, you won't regret it, and you may even develop an emotional attachment to some of the characters. For example. Dr. Reid from Criminal Minds. I mean look at him!
