Everyone knows that the spring semester at Mississippi State is filled with warm weather, lots of crawfish, and the best of all, baseball. An article recently came out stating that Dudy Noble Field was ranked #1 baseball field on a college cameos, which I completely agree with. Yes, I may be a little bit biased, but when it comes to Mississippi State baseball, few others can compare. There are many reasons you can come to love baseball games at MSU, but here are just a few that are indeed my favorite.
1. Left Field Lounge
You can't talk about baseball season or Dudy Noble without mentioning this coveted spot in the outfield. With each fraternity, or group of friends having their own spot in the outfield, it becomes a time of fun, friends and food.
2. The BBQ
This goes right along with the Left Field Lounge, but is important enough for it's own mention. While enjoying the game, you might faintly begin to smell the desirable scent of perfectly cooked BBQ, burgers and chicken. And then all it once it hits you, and you that is the moment you realize that you made the right decision in college.
3. Game Time, All The Time
It doesn't matter what day, what time, if there is a home baseball game you better believe that everyone will be there. Not only are baseball games a fun experience at random times during the week, but it also offers a break from school and all the work that comes with it. Mid week games are the best because unlike football, you don't have to wait 7 days to experience a football game again.
4. Brand New Scoreboard
With the updates done to the field this past year, came a whole new scoreboard as well. And we're talking scoreboard like no other. When MSU baseball is winning, or scores, don't worry, you'll be able to see it rather well. At night this scoreboard's lights are seen from across campus it's so bright.
5. The Players
Don't lie, you know you've seen that video of our players dancing in the locker room. You know they can dance, and you know they're cute. I mean honestly what baseball players aren't cute?
Come one, come all to the great Dudy Noble because baseball season is here folks!
