5 Things I'm Thankful for this Thanksgiving

It's more than just the food...though that's a part of it.

5 Things I'm Thankful for this Thanksgiving

I'm lucky enough to live close enough to Creighton to get to go home over Thanksgiving break. I have so so many things I have been bessed with and am thankful for. Here are a few.

1. My family

They're actually crazy sometimes but they're also kind of amazing.

2. My cat

While my family is crazy, he's evil. But cute. I'm obsessed.

3. Being able to take a bath over break

I love baths. They're my time to get a cold glass of water and a book and bury myself in bubbles and be alone. College has made me so thankful.

4. The food

Thanksgiving food is amazing. At my house, everyone comes together and brings something so, while the basics are the same every year there's always new and delicious food to try.

5. A much needed break from school

I will never complain about a week of no homework and peaceful, quiet solitude. Ever.

I always did this when my best friend sent me songs, never wasting a moment. She had sent a message with this one too, telling me it reminded her so much of both of us and what we have each been through in the past couple of months.
