We all know that Kim Kardashian almost broke the internet for a second time, but this time it was not for her Paper Magazine interview photo. After the release of Kanye’s song, "Famous," listeners were left with confusion about the mention of Taylor Swift. She had claimed that Kanye did not have permission to reference her in his latest hit. Kim, being a good wife, decided to come to her husband’s rescue and post a video of the phone conversation Kanye had with Taylor talking about the song. Instantly after the video went up on her Snapchat, every news source was writing about the huge feud and almost every other celebrity had a thing or two to say after the big “scandal” was revealed. Unfortunately, while media was booming over Kanye and Kim vs. Taylor, there were much more important events going on.

1. FLOTUS Michelle Obama jams out on Carpool Karaoke with James Corden.

The "Late Late Show" host James Corden has become known for his segment Carpool Karaoke where he hosts singers in his car as they help him get to work. An interesting surprise was when First Lady Michelle Obama made an appearance and belted out songs of Stevie Wonder and Beyoncé.

2. Leslie Jones returns to Twitter after leaving because of abusive users.

After the new "Ghostbusters" star, Leslie Jones, left Twitter after being sent hateful racist tweets by so-called fans, she has made her return to social media. The only thing we have to thank for her return is "Game of Thrones" after she tweeted about the show. Thankfully, she was met with lots of love upon her return with the hashtag #LoveforLeslieJ.

3. Donald Trump accepts the Republican presidential nomination.

Donald Trump ended the Republican National Convention by officially accepting his position as the presidential nominee. After being introduced to the stage by his daughter, Ivanka Trump, he took the podium by attacking competitor Hillary Clinton and promising liberation from crime and terrorism, if elected.

4. Lady Gaga and Taylor Kinney end their engagement after five years.

Singing sensation Lady Gaga ended her engagement to actor Taylor Kinney, and issued a statement saying the couple was, “taking a break.” Many fans of the relationship have hopes that the two will rekindle their romance as they work through their issues.

5. Five accomplices charged in the truck attack in Nice.

Four men and one woman are being accused of helping Mohamed Lahouaiej-Bouhlel prepare for the terror attack that occurred on Bastille Day in Nice, France. Each accomplice helped the culprit in a different way in his planning of the truck attack that left 84 dead. The five accomplices appeared in court in France, and were charged with terror offenses.

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.

I was asked so many times why I wanted to go to a small school when a big university is so much better. Don't get me wrong, I'm sure a big university is great but I absolutely love going to a small school. I know that I miss out on big sporting events and having people actually know where it is. I can't even count how many times I've been asked where it is and I know they won't know so I just say "somewhere in the middle of Wisconsin." But, I get to know most people at my school and I know my professors very well. Not to mention, being able to walk to the other side of campus in 5 minutes at a casual walking pace. I am so happy I made the decision to go to school where I did. I love my school and these are just a few reasons why.
