Legally Blonde turned 15 on July 13th! From worshiping Elle Woods to wishing you had a dog just like Bruiser, Legally Blonde was (and can still compete) for the best movie. Not only does it showcase the fabulous life of Elle Woods, it can teach us all a lesson.
1. Elle Woods taught us to never give up.
Did Elle give up when Warner said she wasn't smart enough? Did Elle give up when she got humiliated in front of her entire class? No. She didn't. Just because someone tells you you can't do it, prove them otherwise. You can do anything you put your mind to!
2. Elle Woods didn't let "haters" get her down.
From Warner to his snobby fiance, Elle has experienced the best of them. Even though Vivian invited her to a college party and tricked her into thinking it was a costume party; Elle rocked that bunny costume! For all the people who said she couldn't do it; your hating wasn't enough!
3. Sisterhood is important.
It's always nice to have a sister around. Whether it's to cry to or to go get mani's and pedi's with; a sister is a must. All of my friends at school who are in sorority's love them and the sisterhood that comes with them and Elle's sorority is no different!
4. Elle Woods wasn't afraid to step outside of the box.
Elle's initial step outside the box was to go to law school. After that, it was all outside from there. Not only has she helped herself but she's helped others. Bless that boy trying to ask out those girls because if it wasn't for Elle and her "out-of-the-box" thinking; he wouldn't have gotten that date!
5. Elle Woods defied all standards.
Yes, a "preppy, white, blonde, basic" girl can go to law school and become the best! She was doubted by almost everyone she came in contact with but I'd like to think that made her stronger! YGG! Women can do anything!
So here's to you Legally Blonde on a fabulous, pink, law-filled 15 years!
