5 Things College Students Are Hoping For In Their Easter Baskets

As Easter is approaching the inner child in all of us are secretly hoping for a little something extra from the Easter Bunny. College students are no different. Some things may not even be a possibility for the old bunny, but that doesn't stop them. What are they hoping for?

1. A full week of sleep.


While in college 8 hours of sleep is merely a dream that is never spoken of. If the Easter Bunny could just throw in a couple extra naps, I think the whole world would appreciate it.

2. Cash.


While I know the Easter Bunny can't just shell out $50,000 for me to pay my tuition, and counterfeiting is very much so illegal, but please sir, can you spare me a dollar?

3. A 4.0 GPA.


What could honestly be better than passing all your classes? Passing all your classes with a 4.0.

4. A longer break.


Easter break is just a small little break for most college students. It would be much appreciated to have just a few more days at home with family.

5. Motivation.


Motivation is a hot commodity in the college world. Just a pinch in my Easter basket would be nice.

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.
