Can you tell by the look in your eyes or your billions of coffee receipts?

5 Signs Finals Week is Near
Her Campus

With a little more than just two weeks left of classes, stress is starting to weave it's way through every student's life. From the increase of last minute campus events, everyone suddenly realizing seniors are graduating, seniors realizing they will be graduating, and the magical vanishing of pages between the ever dreaded exam week; here are 5 signs you know finals are coming.

1. College students are taking over local pet stores

Let's face it, the one thing we arguably want more than anything to be sent to us in a care package from home is our dog, cat, rabbit, etc. However, thanks to that probably being illegal and the fact that we'd like to get our beloved pets alive, we flock to the nearest pet store and spend countless hours realizing that while our professors might not love us despite our work at least these animals love us.

2. Coffee shops have to restock on a daily basis

The one thing that every college student lives off of is coffee. It's like gasoline for a car, it wakes us up and keeps us going. When we're empty we either completely crash or are already lined up at the nearest coffee shop to refuel.

3. Library tables have never felt so comfortable

The one thing that we want more than our pets, coffee or passing grades happens to be sleep. We also don't care when or where we get it. This often leads to what should have been some last minute cramming being turned into an additional few hours of sleep.

4. Professors realize they still have half a syllabus left to cover in 2 weeks

I don't know about you all, but it's the worst when professors think they can make up for lost ground by saying they won't cover 8 chapters of additional material in lecture but all 8 chapters plus the additional lecture material needs to be learned before the cumulative exam.

5. You have break down sessions with your friends

Too much coffee, too little sleep and a massive combination of everything going on at once leaves little room for being able to de-stress. Thankfully, we all have someone who we can break down and cry to (or with). Because, let's face it, our friends know exactly what we're going through.

Chandler Bing

I'm assuming that we've all heard of the hit 90's TV series, Friends, right? Who hasn't? Admittedly, I had pretty low expectations when I first started binge watching the show on Netflix, but I quickly became addicted.

Without a doubt, Chandler Bing is the most relatable character, and there isn't an episode where I don't find myself thinking, Yup, Iam definitely the Chandler of my friend group.

eye roll

Working with the public can be a job, in and of itself. Some people are just plain rude for no reason. But regardless of how your day is going, always having to be in the best of moods, or at least act like it... right?

1. When a customer wants to return a product, hands you the receipt, where is printed "ALL SALES ARE FINAL" in all caps.

2. Just because you might be having a bad day, and you're in a crappy mood, doesn't make it okay for you to yell at me or be rude to me. I'm a person with feelings, just like you.

3. People refusing to be put on hold when a customer is standing right in front of you. Oh, how I wish I could just hang up on you!

RBF, or resting b*tch face, is a serious condition that many people suffer from worldwide. Suffers are often bombarded with daily questions such as "Are you OK?" and "Why are you so mad?" If you have RBF, you've probably had numerous people tell you to "just smile!"

While this question trend can get annoying, there are a couple of pros to having RBF.

legally blonde
Yify

Another day, another Elle Woods comment. Can’t us blondes get through the day without someone harping at us over the typical stereotypes about who we are? I never understood why a person was judged based upon the hair color they were born with, or the hair color they choose to have (unless you dye your hair blue like Kylie Jenner, I’m still trying to understand why that’s a trend). Nevertheless, as it should be assumed, not everyone is the same. Not all blondes like bright colors and Lilly Pulitzer, and not all blondes claim to identify with Marilyn Monroe. I think the best suggestion to give to people before they make such radical claims is to stop judging a book by its cover. Or in this case, stop judging a blonde by her hair color.
