Two papers, two oral presentations, a take-home test, finals...I as much as anyone want to get all this work over with so I can go home to spend time with my family. Thanksgiving break was just a teaser compared to the almost month back and away, with no homework to worry about. You know what else I'm looking forward to? Catching up on all my old favorite series and some new ones.
1. "Scream Queens"
I saw just one episode of this show over Thanksgiving break, but I am in love. "Scream Queens" is "American Horror Story" lite, written by the same people who brought you "Glee" and "American Horror Story." It's a very tongue-in-cheek slasher show. Over the entire episode, you know it's building up to the guaranteed one death per episode. It's also hilarious as heck. Definitely need to stream the rest of the show.
2. "MARVEL Agents of SHIELD"
I need to catch up on the rest of Season 3. Things are starting to shape up with the Inhumans plot line and Simmons being trapped somewhere...the one thing I don't like is that Skye Daisy changed her name. I know it's in memory of her memory-wiped father, but she will always be Skye. Always.
3. "Doctor Who"
What can I say? Me and my dad are dedicated Whovians. We got a lot of episodes to burn through before the Christmas special.
4. "Digimon Adventure Tri"
It's not really a TV show this time around, but Crunchyroll has it in episodes, so I'm just going to roll with it. Digimon is back in a series of movies, and by Jove I am watching my childhood come back awesome, even if it takes all break.
5. "Star Wars"
If we're going to watch anything, Star Wars is definitely on this list. My family is watching/re-watching all the movies before "Episode VII" drops, and it's a blast. I just saw "Episode V" over vacation, and it has one of the most masterful scores that I have ever heard. High hopes for this.
There are so many series to watch and games to play and pretty much everything to do once I head back home for Christmas. But for now, it's two papers, two oral presentations, a take-home test, finals...
