We all have friends that we have known since kindergarten. They are extra special because they know all about you and still love you anyway. They are your rock in life and are going to be your bridesmaids. You confide in them always and they never judge you. Your childhood best friends are going to be your friends for life and are completely irreplaceable.

Here are five reasons why:

• They understand your random mood swings:
  Since they have known you all your life, they understand all of your emotions and manage to still put up with you. They understand how you can go from happy to stressed in 60 seconds. They always know the right things to say to make you calm down, stop stressing, and help you realize that things are not as bad as they seem. There is no one else who can make you feel better like they can.
  
  
• They know about all the people in your life even if they haven’t met them before:
  You always tell them about the new guy in your life or the cool friend you made in college. They know where that person is from, what they are majoring in, what their hobbies are, etc. They are basically friends with them too, even if they haven’t met them. You always want them to like the person because you trust their instincts and their approval is very important to you.
  
  
• They are your go-to advice giver:
  They may not even know what has been going on, but they are still the person you contact when life gets tough. They know your thought process by now and always know what to do. It doesn’t matter if they aren’t in the same time zone, they will still answer the phone and help you out
  
  
• They always have your back:
  They would fly across the country to help you out if you need them to. Being in college is tough, and sometimes life kicks you around. Sometimes you just really need your best friend and they so happen to be in Europe. If you needed them to, they would be at the airport before you could even ask to be by your side. However, you would never ask them to do that because you know well enough that it will break their budget for the month.
  
  
• You would do the same for them:
  Not only do they have your back, but you have their back too. That is what best friends are for.
