5 Reasons Why You Should Go To An Ed Sheeran Concert

I have now had the pleasure of seeing Ed Sheeran in concert three times. Aside from being one of my favorite artists, he is also one of the best performers I have ever seen. I get giddy every time he announces that he is having a tour.

I just saw his last stop on the U.S tour at Gillette Stadium in Foxbourough, MA and I have to say, seeing his show never gets old. This was the largest sold out tour stop he has ever played, which is also really cool!

There's something about his concerts that are so simple, yet so fulfilling. I will probably continue seeing Ed Sheeran until he stops touring, which I hope is never!

1. His Concerts Are A Safe Space

Ed himself makes a disclaimer before he starts his concerts, that people are free to do whatever they feel. That means if you want to dance all night long, you are free to do so without judgement. There are people from all walks of life at Ed Sheeran concerts, which is one of my favorite qualities about the shows. His fan base is so diverse and he even hires an interpretor for deaf people, which I think is awesome. The concerts are there for everyone to freely enjoy, from young to old.

2. He Makes All Of The Music With Just His Feet

One of the most amazing things about Ed, is that he really is an amazing musician. Every single sound created, is one done by him with his feet and a loop pedal. There were people sitting in front of me who were in awe of how amazing that feat truly is. Just give Ed a guitar and a loop pedal and he will be able to make his songs sound amazing. The set-up process with the looping is so methodical and it is amazing to watch each and every single time.

3. He Has a Knack For Special Guests

I have been to two concerts where Ed has brought out special guests to suprise his fans with. When I saw him at MSG, Taylor Swift flew in to do a song with him. Last night I saw Chris Martin from Coldplay perform alongside him! It is so cool to see Ed interact with other musicians and how starstruck he gets as well. He is so humble and down to earth and truly invites people because he wants them to be there. He invited Passenger along as well, which was also a nice treat!

4. He Isn't In It For the Money

Ed and his team usually don't sell first row tickets and in most cases all tickets are around the same price. I remember that his management team cancelled a good portion of pre-sale tickets because they ended up on StubHub. He really wants all of his fans to have a fair shot at getting tickets! Aside from one show, I have never had an issue with getting tickets to see Ed!

5. The Covers

I look forward to his shows sometimes just to see what covers he will do! Last night he covered In Da Club by 50 Cent and Know Yourself by Drake! He is such a versatile performer and he can truly remix anything! Ed always has an amazing cover prepared for all of his shows and the spin he takes on them is so fun!

If you ever get the chance to see Ed Sheeran, please do! He is an amazing artist who I will continue to support again and again. I don't think I will ever get bored of of going to his shows!

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

These powerful lyrics remind us how much good is inside each of us and that sometimes we are too blinded by our imperfections to see the other side of the coin, to see all of that good.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

The song was sent to me late in the middle of the night. I was still awake enough to plug in my headphones and listen to it immediately. I always did this when my best friend sent me songs, never wasting a moment. She had sent a message with this one too, telling me it reminded her so much of both of us and what we have each been through in the past couple of months.

What's your sign? It's one of the first questions some of us are asked when approached by someone in a bar, at a party or even when having lunch with some of our friends. Astrology, for centuries, has been one of the largest phenomenons out there. There's a reason why many magazines and newspapers have a horoscope page, and there's also a reason why almost every bookstore or library has a section dedicated completely to astrology. Many of us could just be curious about why some of us act differently than others and whom we will get along with best, and others may just want to see if their sign does, in fact, match their personality.

Being a good person does not depend on your religion or status in life, your race or skin color, political views or culture. It depends on how good you treat others.

We are all born to do something great. Whether that be to grow up and become a doctor and save the lives of thousands of people, run a marathon, win the Noble Peace Prize, or be the greatest mother or father for your own future children one day. Regardless, we are all born with a purpose. But in between birth and death lies a path that life paves for us; a path that we must fill with something that gives our lives meaning.
