I have wanted a cat for as long as I can remember. My parents finally decided to surprise me with one, and ever since then, my life has changed for the better. My cat, Ophelia, has made me happier than I ever thought I could be. If you are thinking about getting a cat, you should just do it. Here are some of the reasons why.
1.They use a litter box.
In the life of a cat, there are rarely any bathroom accidents. They use a litter box, and all you have to do is make sure that it’s clean. Of course, nobody wants to clean out a stinky litter box, but it’s way better than being woken up at odd hours of the night, by your pet, to take them outside to use the bathroom.
2.They are the best cuddle buddies.
There is nothing better than sitting on the couch and having your cat curl up on your lap for some cuddle time. If you’re feeling lonely, or upset, your cat will always be there to cheer you up with some warm snuggles.
3.They are the best alarm clocks.
Have you ever had one of those Saturday mornings when all you want to do is sleep in, even though you have a never-ending list of things you have to do? Well you won’t have to worry about that once you get a cat. Think of your new furry creature as your personal alarm clock. Whether they are hungry, or if they just want to play, they will wake you up and you will not be able to fall back to sleep. You will be able to get all of your stuff done after all!
4.Their independence will allow you to have a life.
I have three words for you. They. Clean. Themselves. What’s better than a pet you don’t have to worry about constantly smelling all the time? Also, you can spend the whole day out without having to worry about your cat. I mean, of course your cat will be constantly on your mind because the love is so strong, but as long as they have enough food and water, they will be fine if you decide to take the day to be with your friends.
5.They are so cute.
Their long tails, their whiskers, and their perfect little paws will make your heart melt every time you look at them. They are just the most majestic little creatures. You will instantly be in a better mood, and become so happy when you come home and see their cute little faces.
There is an infinite list of why cats are so amazing. They make you feel a constant love that will never go away, and that can never be replaced. If you’re thinking about getting a cat, just do it. You will never regret it.
