I am not one to really say that I love cats, or even like cats for that matter. A few years ago my boyfriend went and got a cat for us. I thought we would never be friends, but I have to say I have grown to absolutely love her. She has grown to be such a member of my family, and I could not imagine life without her. This list is just a few things that I absolutely love about her.

1. She Is Always There To Great You At The Door

Coming home to an empty apartment after a long day is never fun. Having someone who is always there and happy to see you does make it a little better. As soon as the lock turns and the door opens, she is running to the door to rub up against your leg and get her love. She knows that I am so happy to see her and that I will pet her right away. I love coming home to her.

2. She Takes Care Of Herself

Living in a college apartment having to take a dog outside would be a pain in the butt. Having a cat eliminates that problem all together. She never wants to go outside and I never have to take her. She gives herself baths so we only have to do that every now and then. Feeding her is about the only thing I have to worry about.

3. She Likes To Play Fetch

Now this is not normally a cat thing, but my cat is more like a dog. I love playing fetch with her. It is great to just take some time and play with her and not worry about anything. She is always so happy when someone can play with her. Now the only downside is that all my hair ties to go missing all the time.

4. She Is The Best Cuddle Buddy

She is so fluffy and she will just curl up in a little ball. She loves to cuddle and I love to cuddle with her. I can lay and pet her for hours with no cares in the world. Sometimes an empty bed is no fun and having a cuddle buddy really makes a difference.

5. She Is One Of My Best Friends

She has been through everything with me these last few years. I could not image my life without her. She is always there to make my day turn around. Just seeing her every day puts me in a better mood. I think that everyone should have a pet and have someone to always count on. I am so glad that I decided to give her a chance because I love her so much.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.

I was asked so many times why I wanted to go to a small school when a big university is so much better. Don't get me wrong, I'm sure a big university is great but I absolutely love going to a small school. I know that I miss out on big sporting events and having people actually know where it is. I can't even count how many times I've been asked where it is and I know they won't know so I just say "somewhere in the middle of Wisconsin." But, I get to know most people at my school and I know my professors very well. Not to mention, being able to walk to the other side of campus in 5 minutes at a casual walking pace. I am so happy I made the decision to go to school where I did. I love my school and these are just a few reasons why.
