You will never regret attending a country concert. It’s a pretty well-known thing that a lot of people hate country music with everything they have and would refuse to pay to hear it live, but there are so many more reasons to go to experience one other than just the music. Everyone should experience one good one in their lifetime, large or small. You’ll leave there happy you decided to go, and most likely wanting to go to another in the future.
1.Tailgating
The tailgating at country concerts is a blast. People are walking from truck to truck, grilling hot dogs, playing games like corn hole and cranking music as loud as they can for a little pre-concert warm up. The weather is warm and the drinks are cold and your adrenaline is getting higher and higher knowing how great of a night it’s going to be. You never hear anyone say they hate tailgating. It’s half the reason you pay to go to a concert.
2. Atmosphere
Much like what was explained above, the atmosphere at a country concert is one of a kind. It’s a no judgement zone, and everyone is there for the same reason. It doesn’t matter who you are, where you come from or how much you paid to sit in the very front or the very back, everyone is happy. You won’t see a single person frowning or angry because it’s a well-known thing that it’s going to be a night for the books. You can feel the excitement and blissfulness in the air around you radiating off of everyone there.
3. Lawn Seats
Lawn seats are the cheapest and furthermost back row from the stage in the arena. But, that’s what makes them so fun. You’re not assigned to a certain seat, and you’re free to wander around and do what you like. It’s filled with younger kids who are probably already broke and only have $60 to spare for a ticket. But it doesn’t matter because they’re still happy to be there. Things get rowdy and loud pretty quick in the lawn seat section, and if you’re looking to have an experience you won’t forget, this is where you should be sitting.
4. The People
When you attend a concert like this, everyone is your friend. You may not know more than six people when you get to the concert, but by the end of the night, that number will have doubled. People are ready to become your best friend and thrown their arm around your shoulder and sing in unison to that one really good song. They’re generous, ecstatic, eccentric people just looking to have a good time.
5. The Music
Last but certainly not least, the music. Country music is the kind of music that lifts you up and puts a spring in your step. It doesn’t matter if you hate hearing about small town living and drinking beer, or if you’re a thug who has dedicated their ears to Fetty Wap, country music is for everyone. If you go to a concert like this hating country music, chances are you’ll walk out a fan. I’ve seen it happen plenty of times, which is a big reason why country music is on the rise. So give in to it and just give it a try.
