In every friend group there is at least one odd ball that is just weird but everyone is still friends with them. This friend most likely makes everyone laugh with whatever they do and laughs at themselves. If you do not know who that is, it is probably you. Do not have shame in that, though.
In my friend group, that is me. I am that weird friend. It is well known and I could care less. I have so much more fun because I can be myself without even having a care in the world. If I lose a friend because of how I am then so be it because this is me and I am proud of that.
1. You have more fun
When there are no cares there is more fun that is had. When there is more fun then there is more laughs. The more laughs the less stress. And the chain reaction goes on and on. Having fun is the key goal in life and if there is no fun then what is life? Life has to be lived with an open mind and sense of humor.
2. You laugh at everything
I know when I do this the laughing never stops. When I am in my tired state of mind I laugh at nothing at all and this can happen for half an hour straight. Why it happens, I do not know but who cares because I am enjoying life. Even if you attempt to do something you know you are not good at, you laugh at yourself and could care less what others think because you are enjoying yourself. You are having fun.
3. You may, also, be super random
I know I am the most random person. We may be talking about a TV show and I will say something that happened the other day with my food. I am told on the daily that I am random. But hey being random brings up a variety of conversations and topics.
4. You are Different
You are a unique and different soul. There is nothing wrong with that. Being different than others just shows that you can be independent and think differently than others. It shows that you can bring your own perspective and thoughts to every situation in life. Who wants to be a follower when they can be a leader and have their own life? Who wants to live a life that is the same as someone else’s? You are making your own memories and your own life experiences.
5. You are Personable
You are friendly and may talk to a new person every chance you get. OR you may talk with others, meet a new person, and just instantly have full conversations with them about random topics in life. This just shows you could be thrown into a variety of situations and talk with any one person.
These five reasons are only a few of the many reasons why the weird friend is the best friend in a friend group. The weird friend has more fun because who cares? Just as long as you can be serious and act semi-normal in the appropriate situations, then you are golden for life. AND pictures just do not do justice to show the amount of fun and weirdness you have. That's quite alright because it is witnessed and understood all on its own.
