5 Reasons to Re-watch Glee!
Netflix

Glee has been off the air for a while now, and I don’t know about you, but I think it’s about time we all start re-watching it in all it’s glory. If that first sentence doesn't already have Glee on your Netflix screen, here are 5 reasons why you absolutely should! Or if you tragically have never watched Glee before, well, you definitely just found your newest show to binge watch.

1.Mr. Schue

If you re-watch the series, especially at an older age, you find a new appreciation for Will and all his struggles. And you’ll probably laugh at more of his jokes. If you first watched this series at a younger age, you couldn’t identify with Mr. Schue and how he had to worry about his job and the Glee kids and his personal life. It’s also shocking to watch and realize that he wasn’t even getting paid to do Glee- the thing he spent all of his time focusing on. If you do decide to re-watch, pay extra attention to Mr. Schue and his plotlines.

2. It can be so uplifting, even despite all the cheesiness.

This one goes without explanation, but sometimes it just feels really good to watch a show like Glee. Something super sappy, drama filled, but you know it will work out in the end (because you’ve seen it before AND because that’s just the kind of show it is).

3.Finn Hudson

If you’ve already watched the series, you know how great Finn is. But going back and watching, especially the first few seasons, it’s just so fun. It’s comforting to see a character like Finn, who is goofy and stumbling through high school. He goes through so much, and it can be hard to watch, but he also is one of the most feel-good characters in the whole show. However, if you are re-watching for feel-good Finn, you should probably stop after Season 4… or stock up on tissues.

4. All the original characters.

If you watch all of Glee in one run (like I have many times) you realize just how relatable the original characters were. And to watch the whole series and get to the last season, seeing how happy they all are and how good they did for themselves- it can make you feel really good about your own life. Look at how all these characters were bullied and in such bad spots, and then look at them in the last episode. It’s kind of like saying to yourself- if they can do that, so can you!

5.You get to sing along to some really great songs.

Let’s be honest, nobody watches Glee for the music. But it is a really fun part of it, so don’t fast forward through it! Or at least not all of it. And make sure you watch in a place where no one can hear you belting out Britney Spears and Journey- or at least where no one will interrupt you.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.

Top 10 Reasons My School Rocks!

Why I Chose a Small School Over a Big University.

I was asked so many times why I wanted to go to a small school when a big university is so much better. Don't get me wrong, I'm sure a big university is great but I absolutely love going to a small school. I know that I miss out on big sporting events and having people actually know where it is. I can't even count how many times I've been asked where it is and I know they won't know so I just say "somewhere in the middle of Wisconsin." But, I get to know most people at my school and I know my professors very well. Not to mention, being able to walk to the other side of campus in 5 minutes at a casual walking pace. I am so happy I made the decision to go to school where I did. I love my school and these are just a few reasons why.
