We all know that Primo is the hype of the town, but do you know why?

5 Reasons to Check Out Primo

It's not every day that a new restaurant opens up in the Cedar Valley. Actually, it's a lot less frequently. It's even less often that a fine dining restaurant that allows women to break out those glamorous dresses and stilettos opens in none other than our very own city—Cedar Falls. Well, that day has come. Primo, the newest fine dining restaurant in the Cedar Valley, has finally opened its doors for business. If you're still skeptical, let me tell you why you should stop in and see what all the talk is about.

1. Italian food. Great steaks. Signature drinks. Need I say more?

Primo offers a wide variety of high-quality meals and specialty drinks that our chef and bar manager have devoted hours to perfect. Unlike many restaurants, we make all of our food in house. What's even better is that we can prove it. If the taste isn't enough to convince you, just ask your server, and he or she would be happy to tell you exactly how it is prepared.

2. We believe quality and quantity can go hand and hand, so we don't sacrifice either.

Many restaurants make customers choose between quality and quantity. We believe in providing our guests with generous portions without sacrificing the great quality that sets us apart from other restaurants.

3. We are able to accommodate large parties.

If you're still looking for a place to host a holiday party or just want to know what is available for that upcoming birthday, we have you covered. We are able to serve parties of over 100 people in a sophisticated, intimate setting.

4. Our dining room looks like a dream.

We have brand new furnishings for our dining room that find a balance between retro and modern. Our dining room is elegant without being pretentious. Sometimes we want to go out to have a quiet dinner with a significant other, and other times we want to be able to laugh with our friends and family while sipping on a few martinis. Find a restaurant that can provide both. We strive to maintain a positive atmosphere that accommodates small, quiet groups while also providing space for larger, social groups. Both types of groups can enjoy the elegance of Primo.

5. Service is of the utmost importance to us.

Our philosophy is that teamwork really does make the dream work. We are of the firm belief that we need every single one of our team members and that no one is more important than anyone else. Without the cooks, we do not have food. Without the bar, we cannot serve drinks. Without the servers, we have no face to our restaurant. Without the managers, we lack leadership. And without the customers, we do not have a business. We believe in working together towards a goal—satisfying our guests.

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.
