5 Reasons Why You Shouldn't Support Same Sex Marriage

Same-sex marriage is a dirty, sinful practice, which, as unbelievably, is slowly, but surely becoming legalized across the United States of America. This thus promotes the anarchic homosexual lifestyle that people have been working hard to keep out of our uncorrupt country for generation upon generation. Here are five reasons why you shouldn’t encourage or support the legalization of same-sex marriage in our country (let’s make America great again).

1. It affects you directly.

Same-sex marriage absolutely has everything to do with you, even if you’re already in a happy, healthy, heterosexual relationship. Can you imagine a world where everyone could get married, no matter the sexuality? Gross. That would mean that people could have equal rights and benefits in all aspects of life, and that’s just not fair. Can you imagine exposing something like homosexuality, to the youth? That would be disastrous and inhumane.

2. It’s a sin.

Marriage, and the tradition of it, is between a man and a woman and that’s all there is to it. The covenant title of “husband” (singular) or "wife" (singular) is not the same as "partners," and should only be between husband and wife, as it has always been intended to be. Being gay isn’t the same as being African-American or black; therefore, this isn’t an issue of civil rights, because gays didn’t earn this right like they did. Not to mention the fact that marriage has several purposes, and one being to encourage reproduction. Last time I checked, two eggs or two sperms don’t make a baby. Same-sex marriage will result in the deconstruction of the human race.

3. It’s gross.

The last thing I want to see on a walk in the park, or while running everyday errands, is two gays, let alone two gays showing affection. Because if same-sex marriage becoming legalized, it is becoming supported and promoted. As if the “Pride Parades” where the homosexuals gather and celebrate themselves, on the premise of sin, aren’t enough already, who knows what kind of immoral tradition they will come up with if it becomes universally legalized?

4. It’s unnatural.

As aforementioned, homosexuality is a sin, and like most sins, it can be cleansed and washed away. Why would America encourage gay marriage if being gay is only temporary? This subject is just a waste of time, space, and energy, and what we should be spending our time on is conversion therapy.

5. It will be a catalyst.

If same-sex marriage gets completely legalized, who knows what kind of risqué, demoralizing behavior will become acceptable next? Next thing we know marijuana will be legalized and then what? We’re going to have a bunch of the gays hanging out on the street corner, smoking the devils lettuce and corrupting the youth. All-in-all same-sex marriage is disastrous to America…and the world.

For as long as I can remember, I have been listening to The Beatles. Every year, my mom would appropriately blast “Birthday” on anyone’s birthday. I knew all of the words to “Back In The U.S.S.R” by the time I was 5 (Even though I had no idea what or where the U.S.S.R was). I grew up with John, Paul, George, and Ringo instead Justin, JC, Joey, Chris and Lance (I had to google N*SYNC to remember their names). The highlight of my short life was Paul McCartney in concert twice. I’m not someone to “fangirl” but those days I fangirled hard. The music of The Beatles has gotten me through everything. Their songs have brought me more joy, peace, and comfort. I can listen to them in any situation and find what I need. Here are the best lyrics from The Beatles for every and any occasion.

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.
