Michael Fassbender, if you didn't know, is a current rising star. He's been in films such as "X-Men: First Class" as well as "MacBeth." As an avid, avid fan of Michael Fassbender, I want to spread his greatness to as many as I can. I feel that it is the least I could do as thanks for the amazing and wonderful movies he has given to me. Here is a list of why I love Michael Fassbender; I must warn you, my love for this man is real.

1. He is both German and Irish.

Born to the two luckiest parents in the world, Adele and Josef Fassbender, Michael was born in Heidelberg, Germany on April 2, 1977, but he grew up in Killarney, in southwest Ireland. His mother is Irish and his father is German. To me, this is very interesting because these two different, ancient cultures are mixed into this fine specimen. I love Germany and its culture, as well as its language. Ireland holds a special place in my heart, considering my last name originates from a clan there.

2. He has blue eyes and brown hair.

This wouldn't be a proper fangirl article if I didn't have any shallow reasons as to why I love him. I mean, looking into his icy blue orbs, so full of power, makes me feel as if I have been swept away by a current, unable to fight through—left to let this current drown me in his handsomeness. A bit overdramatic, but very well true.

3. His accent

His accent is unlike anything I have heard before, and I am completely only saying this because he is my one true love. But seriously, his accent is so unique, and I don't know about others, but if I didn't know every aspect of his life already, then I would have a hard time pinning where he was from.

4. Acting Capabilities

Now, I am not just saying this because I love him: he is one of the best actors I have seen in my short lifetime. He puts his all into his movies and really invests copious amounts of time, energy, and smiling sexily to bring his characters to life.

5. Shark smile

Speaking of his sexy smiles, his resembles that of a shark, but not like this bloodletting fellow here:

But like this:

So, now you should have some sort of idea as to why I can never shut up about this man. He is so funny, so caring, and so Fassy (which is his nickname) that I have a hard time believing that he has no idea that I even exist. But, I have a dream, that one day, he will know me, and then we will get married. Or, at the very least, I will get the perfect selfie with him. If you have not remembered anything in this article, remember this...

I love Michael Fassbender!

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.
