I have been a part of Alpha Phi Omega since Fall 2015. This Service Fraternity has changed my life for the good. I have met so many amazing people, and have been to so many life changing events. All my brothers (girls and guys) in APO have the biggest hearts. If you need something or you need someone to listen, they will be there. The love, the passion, and the heart my brothers have to serve continues to amaze me. You should all consider joining this amazing Fraternity for these reasons:
1. There are 173 members in our chapter, and at least one of them is bound to be your bestie for a life time.
2.If you want to start building your resume, APO can help get you started. There are a certain amount of hours you have to volunteer each semester for service, fellowship, leadership, and fundraising. Usually, members find themselves going beyond the minimum requirements.
3. Let’s be honest, when you are serving any event, you meet a bunch of amazing people. There will never be an event were you feel unhappy to be there.
4. It teaches you how to schedule your day and fit events in between your busy college schedule. Also, if you are not about that social fraternity and sorority life, Alpha Phi Omega is for you!
5. This Fraternity is always doing so many great things around the community, so why wouldn’t you want to be a part of it? Too busy? Not to worry! There are so many events that you can fit in between you’re busy college schedule.
Kelo Ryals, President of Alpha Phi Omega:
“Alpha Phi Omega is a national service organization that allows college student bond through service projects. It's an inclusive organization that helps students’ strength and develop their leadership skills while also serving their campus, community and the nation. It's the reason many of us chose APO. I believe people should join because it's an organization of growth. APO provides you with so many opportunities for personal advancement while also helping others and creating friendships with people who share the same vision and aspirations as yourself.”
