It's official: Hollywood has declared creative bankruptcy and has resorted to remaking older movies or gracing the audience with much anticipated sequels. After Disney recently made billions on "Star Wars: The Force Awakens," it seems like the major releases of 2016 are set to follow in the nostalgic film trend. For those of us who grew up with and loved the original source material, we say: bring it on.

1. "Fuller House"

Showing up on Netflix on February 26, "Fuller House" is probably the most anticipated nostalgic TV show arriving this year. DJ, Stephanie, Danny, Jesse, and Joey are all back and the generation that grew up watching reruns on Nick at Nite gets a new set of Tanners to fall in love with. And let's admit we all teared up a bit at the trailer featuring Miranda Lambert's "The House That Built Me." Watch the trailer here.

2. "Finding Dory"

We waited so long for this! Thirteen years after Pixar released the brilliance that was "Finding Nemo," Ellen DeGeneres and the wonderful cast are back and the generation that learned the mantra, "Fish are friends, not food," will finally get to "just keep swimming" into the theaters for this sequel. #sorrynotsorry for all my puns. Watch the trailer here.

3. "Fantastic Beasts and Where To Find Them"

The Harry Potter generation is back! We read the books, we watched the movies, we lived and died by J.K. Rowling's Pottermore website, and now we've been gifted with another movie. This time set in America, thus giving us an entire new Wizarding World to enjoy. Mischief managed. Watch the trailer here.

4. "Independence Day Resurgence"

It may not have Will Smith or the most cheesy speech of patriotism ever seen on a cinema screen, but nonetheless, almost everyone from my generation has seen Independence Day at least once, and we've all got a little bit of love for the movie took Will Smith's alien battling skills to a new level. Watch the trailer here.

5. "The Jungle Book"

The next in Disney's trend of making their beloved animated fairytales into live action films is "The Jungle Book." This live version seems to strike a much darker tone than it's jazzy "Bear Necessities" counterpart, but it's all-star cast, including Bill Murray, Idris Elba, and Lupita Nyong'o makes this movie worth the watch for anyone who grew up on the Disney classics. Watch the trailer here.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

These powerful lyrics remind us how much good is inside each of us and that sometimes we are too blinded by our imperfections to see the other side of the coin, to see all of that good.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

The song was sent to me late in the middle of the night. I was still awake enough to plug in my headphones and listen to it immediately. I always did this when my best friend sent me songs, never wasting a moment. She had sent a message with this one too, telling me it reminded her so much of both of us and what we have each been through in the past couple of months.

Zodiac wheel with signs and symbols surrounding a central sun against a starry sky.

What's your sign? It's one of the first questions some of us are asked when approached by someone in a bar, at a party or even when having lunch with some of our friends. Astrology, for centuries, has been one of the largest phenomenons out there. There's a reason why many magazines and newspapers have a horoscope page, and there's also a reason why almost every bookstore or library has a section dedicated completely to astrology. Many of us could just be curious about why some of us act differently than others and whom we will get along with best, and others may just want to see if their sign does, in fact, match their personality.

Being a good person does not depend on your religion or status in life, your race or skin color, political views or culture. It depends on how good you treat others.

We are all born to do something great. Whether that be to grow up and become a doctor and save the lives of thousands of people, run a marathon, win the Noble Peace Prize, or be the greatest mother or father for your own future children one day. Regardless, we are all born with a purpose. But in between birth and death lies a path that life paves for us; a path that we must fill with something that gives our lives meaning.
