5 Ideas For Your Minecraft World

For the past couple of weeks, I've rediscovered my true passion: Minecraft.

Developed by Mojang, Minecraft is a truly revolutionary game that allows for any style of gameplay. Survive in the wilderness, forage for materials and resources, or fly around the world in creative with access to unlimited amounts of all the blocks you could ever dream of.

Despite the countless ways to play, it can sometimes be easy for a world to become a little stale. Here are 5 ideas for buildings to create in your Minecraft world, survival or creative style!

1. Build a library.

No, not a little enchanting hut with the minimum 15 bookshelves. I'm talking the real deal. It'll take a lot of leather, but trust me--there's nothing quite as satisfying as a grand building filled to the brim with books and elegant decoration.

2. Build a huge storage system.

This one is mainly for survival worlds, but a nice big storage system complete with hoppers and chests galore will ensure that all your items are stored in an organized manner!

3. Build a lighthouse.

Warding off unwanted enemies while also helping guide ships to shore, this spectacular build is shore to be the highlight of your Minecraft world!

4. Build an inn.

The downstairs is the tavern, the upstairs is the lodging quarters! It's a great addition to a Minecraft town, and it's a blast to build, too!

5. Build a castle.

Of course, I saved the best for last. The first thing people think of in Minecraft when it comes to building is probably always building the HUGEST castle they can make. So go forth and conquer!

For as long as I can remember, I have been listening to The Beatles. Every year, my mom would appropriately blast “Birthday” on anyone’s birthday. Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register.
