Computer games are awesome, and the free ones can be even better. Personally, my favorites are hidden object games and they are more often than not worth the playthrough. I'll try not to spoil while giving a short synopsis. So here is my list of five hidden object games you should check out:
1. Les Miserables: Cosette's Fate
This is a good game for literature fans. You play as Cosette, an orphan girl in Paris in the early 1800's. The goal of the game is to follow her various story lines and survive until the end and your happily ever after.
2. Immortal Lovers
This game has a special place in my gamer heart because it was the first hidden object game I ever beat. You play as a teenage girl who goes on vacation with her family for the summer. If you have never liked Twilight do not play this. Honestly the story line is right out of Meyer novel with a Vampire Diaries twist, I'm not joking. However, this is a good mix of hidden object scenes and classic puzzles.
3. Sacra Terra - Angelic Night
Now this one is awesome! The ending leaves a bit to be desired in tying up plot lines, but that can be said with a lot of things. This story is based around the seven deadly sins, and demons who embody those sins. The point is to stop the demon of Envy from taking over an abandoned island. In the process you have to defeat the other six sins, and free the trapped spirit of a young girl who was killed by Envy.
4. Phantasmat
This game offers a few different difficulty settings, which is nice honestly. This game is all about solving the mystery of a town that flooded out, killing almost all of its occupants. For some reason none of the survivors - or you - can get away. You're all trapped until you learn the terrible secret keeping each person there! It really is a, ahem, Phantastic game.
5. Love and Death: Bitten
This game is another vampire novelesque plot. In this game you switch between playing the daughter of the town leader and the vampire entrapped by an evil vampiress. Again this game meshes hidden object and other puzzles. The plot is basically that you are trying to turn the vampire human again, kill the female vampire, and let the lovers live happily ever after...but be careful, there's room for a sequel at the end.
