In a culture with media saturated by dudes, it's important to notice the kickass ladies doing cool stuff out there. From gaming, to life advice, to makeup tutorials, follow-me-around videos, and lessons in DIY crafts and cosplay, these five awesome women are people you should be subscribing to right now. Actually, stop reading this article. Just scroll to the names, type them in, subscribe, and start watching videos. Don't worry, I won't be offended.

1. Mortem3r

Mortem3r aka Suzy Berhow is one of my absolute favorite YouTubers. Her videos range from unboxings (which vary from Lootcrates to Ipsy), makeup tutorials, follow me around videos, DIY crafts and accessories, and overall very honest and funny content. She also runs the gaming channel KittyKatGaming, has a wonderful etsy store, and is also a member of the Game Grumps!

2. Commander Holly

Commander Holly, aka Holly Conrad is an absolute master of cosplay. She's also very good friends with Mortem3r/Suzy and frequently appears on Game Grumps. She also loves birds and it is adorable. Her channel contains information about the birds she's rescued, drunk crafts, video game play throughs, and more!

3. Doddleoddle

Doddleoddle aka Dodie Clark is a wonderful musician, actress, and vlogger. Her channel contains makeup tutorials, hair tutorials, song covers, original music, and more! She also runs a more casual vlog channel called Doddlevloggle, which is adorable.

4. Savannah Brown

Savannah Brown is a wonderful slam poet, actress, musician, and vlogger. She also has a wonderful book of poetry out now and she was in a short film called "Let It Be" with Dodie!

5. Maangchi

Maangchi has one of the most wonderful cooking channels out there, if not the absolute best. She's adorable, has the cutest captions on her videos, and does the most intense cooking I've ever seen. Look at her cooking this squid!

WAIT! What's that? Is it a bird? A plane? The disappointing but expected reviews for "Batman v Superman"? No! It's a special bonus sixth YouTuber!

6!: LaMadelynn

Madelynn's channel is awesome if you like Feminism, cool pins, fashion videos, makeup tutorials, and just some super cool aesthetic inspiration. Her "Current Favorites" videos are my constant favorites.
