With fall just around the corner, comes a set of all new television shows! Below are five of my picks you must watch this season!
1. "Blood and Oil"
Premieres on ABC on Sunday, September 27 at 9/8c
This modern day drama stars "Gossip Girl" alum Chace Crawford along with "Miami Vice" alum Don Johnson. This series is about a modern-day oil boom in North Dakota and a newly married young couple trying to cash in on the oil boom that is occurring in North Dakota. This prime time televison soap opera follows Crawford and his wife (Rebecca Rittehouse) on their journey into the biggest oil discovery in American History.
2. "Quantico"
Premieres on ABC on Sunday, September 27 at 10/9c
Quantico is very similar to the Shonda Rhimes hit show, "How to Get Away with Murder." It is about a new class of FBI recruits at Quantico who all joined the FBI for different reasons. But one of the recruits is responsible for the biggest domestic terrorist attack on U.S. soil since 9/11 occurred. Priyanka Chopra, Jake McLaughlin, Johanna Braddy, and Graham Rogers star in this upcoming show.
3. "Scream Queens"
Premieres on Fox on Tuesday, September 22 at 8/7c
This comedy-horror series is filled with all kinds of celebrities. The series takes place in a sorority house, where the school's new dean demands that all sisters must be accepted through the pledging process. Along with that, a serial killer is on the loose killing off one character each episode. This star-studded cast includes Emma Robers, Ariana Grande, Keke Palmer, Oliver Hudson, Jamie Lee Curtis, Lea Michele, and more! Don't forget to check out this horror story comedy.
4. "Wicked City"
Premieres on ABC on Tuesday, October 27 at 10/9c
This Bonnie and Clyde-esque drama is set in Los Angeles during the 1980s.The show is about a detective chasing down serial killers who prey on young women. The cast stars, Jeremy Sisto, Ed Westwick, and Erika Christensen.
5. "Grandfathered"
Premieres on FOX on Tuesday, September 29 at 8/7c
Written by former "The Office" creator, "Grandfathered" is about John Stamos playing a version of himself: a fun loving longtime bachelor whose life is turned upside down when he discovers he's a father and a grandfather. The playboy restaurateur's (Stamos) life is played out in this new comedy. Other cast members include Josh Peck, Paget Brewster, and Christina Milian.
