I am obsessed with face masks, I always have been; and, although, I have okay skin and rarely break out - I just love putting on a mud mask and face masks. I have tried plenty in my days, and I have some that work and some that don't really work.

So, here's my list of five that are completely worth the money and time spent because they are absolutely fab! I have tried these in the past and they have worked perfectly for me. It is hard to find products that work with African-American skin, so for that, these worked perfectly for my skin.

1. Shea Moisture

They have mud masks and sensitive skin facial moisturizer, which I have used both of these products and still use. They have products for sensitive skin, dry skin, regular skin and so much more. They have products for hair, products for kids, products for the body. I love this company and I love how great my face feels after I used their products. I started using them in 2016 and I haven't used anything since this right here is what I will continue to use.

2. Que Bella

This is a Target product and I find them to work perfectly for me. They are cheap and I love them for the price. They are simple peel-off masks, refreshing masks, pore masks, cleansing masks and so many more to choose from.

They have party packs, which are packs that come with a ton of different ones. They smell so so great and I enjoy them. They are nothing made especially for your skin - so, they are not like Shea Moisture.

They are not especially for sensitive skin, or for dry skin, they are in between masks when you don't want to go all out. If you don't have skin that breaks out, this is perfect for you. If you need something specifically for what your skin needs, I would pass this one up.

3. Clinique

Now, if you do not know about Clinique, you are missing out! (Sephora, Wal-Mart, and most retail stores sell this.) If you have problematic skin, this is for you. I use this when I am breaking out before 'the time of the month' and it clears my skin right up always and never fails.

This is the most expensive one on the list, but the outcome is outstanding. I have used this in a situation where I woke up and found a few breakouts on my face and the next day I wake up and they are practically gone.

They come separately, but also in a pack. Getting the pack saves money unless you need just one because the face wash ran out. However, overall, the pack is worth it and a money saver at the end of the day.

4. Lush

Okay, Lush. You know the craze about Lush and all of their products and how great they are. I am here to affirm that.

The soap, bath bombs, face masks, and everything else are wonderful. I have tried the soap, body butter, and face masks.

They are also vegan = don't hurt animals and pretty reasonably priced. They sell small 5oz (and bigger ones, but for sample trying the smaller ones are best) and give out samples if you ask for one. Plus, their Christmas bundles were a lifesaver and so cute!

5. Sugar Scrub (Bath and Body Works)

I absolutely adore sugar scrub! It is not for any particular reason, but to make your face soft after a shower or in the AM to wake you up.

This is not for pores or getting rid of acne. However, you can use this product as many times as you want on your face and nothing happens. This is more so just an "I don't want to put on a face mask or use any fancy products, but I do want to wash my face" type ordeal.

I own this product, along with every other one on this list. They are used for different things, but overall, I like this one because when I am lazy it works and makes my face feel fresh!

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

These powerful lyrics remind us how much good is inside each of us and that sometimes we are too blinded by our imperfections to see the other side of the coin, to see all of that good.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

The song was sent to me late in the middle of the night. I was still awake enough to plug in my headphones and listen to it immediately. I always did this when my best friend sent me songs, never wasting a moment. She had sent a message with this one too, telling me it reminded her so much of both of us and what we have each been through in the past couple of months.

Zodiac wheel with signs and symbols surrounding a central sun against a starry sky.

What's your sign? It's one of the first questions some of us are asked when approached by someone in a bar, at a party or even when having lunch with some of our friends. Astrology, for centuries, has been one of the largest phenomenons out there. There's a reason why many magazines and newspapers have a horoscope page, and there's also a reason why almost every bookstore or library has a section dedicated completely to astrology. Many of us could just be curious about why some of us act differently than others and whom we will get along with best, and others may just want to see if their sign does, in fact, match their personality.

Being a good person does not depend on your religion or status in life, your race or skin color, political views or culture. It depends on how good you treat others.

We are all born to do something great. Whether that be to grow up and become a doctor and save the lives of thousands of people, run a marathon, win the Noble Peace Prize, or be the greatest mother or father for your own future children one day. Regardless, we are all born with a purpose. But in between birth and death lies a path that life paves for us; a path that we must fill with something that gives our lives meaning.
