As someone who has always never been on the taller end of the height scale, I have had some advantages and disadvantages in regards of my fluctuating height between 5'0 and 4'11.5. Here are some of the cons of being 5'1 and under:
1. Driving
Depending on how short you are, you might need a pillow to sit on in order to see over the steering wheel.
2. Automatic Armrest
It truly is interesting how many times people have casually placed their arm on my shoulder because it is "that perfect height to rest 'my' arm."
3. Feet not touching the ground
There's nothing worse than having your feet dangle at the dinner table (or any table).
4. High Shelves
Most of the time I can reach something that is up high on another shelf, but every once and awhile it can be agonizing trying to get that last macaroni and cheese box in the kitchen cabinet without a stool or counter to climb or use.
5. Concerts
Most of the time when I am at any concert, there will most likely be someone taller than me which makes it difficult for me to watch and enjoy the concert.
