Turning 21 is a big part of every young adult's life. House parties are always a struggle with cops, and having to ask your brother for alcohol is never fun. Once the legal age comes around you start to wonder where it was all along. Here are five things that change when you turn 21.
1. You're always broke.
Drinks are never cheap and happy hour never ends up being just one drink. You end up alone drunk at the bar and you honestly have no remorse. Friends want to go drinking all the time and you just can't say no. Like Justin Bieber says, "Never say never."

2. Restaurant costs.
Before you're 21 all you have to pay for is your food but once you can buy alcohol your tab goes from $7 to $50. That's if you're a light drinker. Plus you still have to tip the waiter unless you're at the bar and you forget to open a tab and have to tip the bartender every time. Those $1 tips add up real quick.
3.New friends
We all know once you're drunk you socialize with any one and every one. People at bars are always the friendliest and most of the time super drunk. You end up with random numbers on your phone and you always forget to delete them.

4. Karaoke karaoke, karaoke.
Karaoke explains it all. Once you're 21 karaoke becomes life.

5. Priorities change.
You kind off realize that there's a whole new world after you're 21. You learn to prioritize work, school and drinking. Instead of spending money on dumb things you rather save to go out. You go out with people you know can have a good time instead of people who always complain about their horrible relationship. House parties aren't as fun anymore. Priorities change whether it be in a negative or positive way.
