With the fall season comes a lot of good news for music fans. Many bands are coming out with new albums, going on tour, or both! I'm going to give you some bands that you should definitely check out this fall.
1. 5 Seconds of Summer: You’ve probably heard this band on the radio singing about American Apparel underwear. They are currently raising hype for their new album Sounds Good Feels Good which will be released on Oct. 23. Three songs have already been released including “She’s Kinda Hot” “Flyaway” and “Jet Black Heart.” Pop punk fans won’t be disappointed on this new album.
2. All Time Low: You may have seen this band at the Alternative Press Music Awards this year. Members Alex and Jack were the hosts at the APMAs, and members Zack and Rian both took home their own awards for Best Bassist and Best Drummer. The band released their latest album Future Hearts on April 3. You can see them this fall with Sleeping with Sirens on the Back To The Future Hearts tour.
3. Mayday Parade: These guys seem to have been quiet lately, but that's probably because they have been busy recording and promoting their new album Black Lines which will release on Oct. 9. They will be joining Real Friends, As It Is, and This Wild Life on the AP Tour this fall.
4. State Champs: Between the Shot Boys of Summer tour and hanging out with their friends (Tyler Posey, All Time Low, 5 Seconds of Summer), these guys have also been prepping a new album. Their second album Around The World And Back will be released on Oct. 16. Catch them on tour with The Wonder Years, Motion City Soundtrack and You Blew It this fall.
5. I See Stars: This band is definitely the most unique out of the five. Their musical style is labeled as electronicore or EDM. They just released a new acoustic album called Phases. The new album contains songs from their previous albums, some new songs, and even a few covers. Phases was released on Aug. 28. They will be going on their Phases tour this fall with For The Win and Alive In Standby.
I highly recommend listening to these bands and catching them on tour this fall. Pop punk fans will not be disappointed.
