Oh, Woodstock. We have had some good, bad, scary and very hilarious times together. For one thing, I wouldn't want to change anything about our lives together. So let's take a look back at all the fun things that make Woodstock so memorable and great.

1. Whenever you mention that you went to Woodstock High School, everyone refers to it as “Weedstock.”

2. You went to all three Woodstock schools.

3. You knew that there was no way a pool could be on the roof.

4. Etowah vs. Woodstock was the fiercest rivalry in the state. Everyone came to the game. “Do you even go here?”

5. Friday night after football games, Taco Bell was the place to go. Free tacos on the back of your football ticket stub! #poorhighschoolstudent

6. Getting excited to watch WTV7 on Fridays.

7. Coach Mac. That is all.

8. The PDA from all the couples in the hall between classes.

9. "We from Dat Wood, yo."

10. The rock outside of the Woodstock High School that was always painted by the senior class.

11. When we got the Megatron...

12. Tailgating before football games was the most exciting day of the week.

13. You went to more than one birthday party at Hot Wheels in your childhood.

14. You were involved in at least one fender bender on Towne Lake Parkway. #nightmareroad

15. Hanging out with your friends at the Towne Lake Starbucks was the thing to do after finals.

16. You are still annoyed to this day that Main Street is a 25 mile per hour zone. #speeditup

17. You’ve been involved in one of the many parades that Woodstock does every year.

18. You are still angry to this day that the vending machines at the high school were filled with diet drinks. #butyouwantsodasoyousuffer

17. It was a great day if you left the student parking lot before the buses. #takethatyougiantyellowbeasts

18. You’ll never forget where you were during the lockdown.

19. You remember downtown Woodstock before it became super modern and hip.

20. Waffle House was the place to go before and after any occasion. Homecoming dinner? At the Waho.

21. You’ll never forget the Great Flood of 2009 when Highway 92 was flooded and Waho was submerged in muddy waters. #RIP

22. Coach Mac again. You're welcome.

23. Going to the Ingles on Highway 92 and the next day it was closed for good.

24. That one time there was a KFC in Woodstock. #gonegirl

25. Also, that one time there was a Mrs. Winner’s Chicken in Woodstock.

26. The feeling of happiness and utter joy when they built another Starbucks in Woodstock that is like two minutes from your house.

27. Shopping at the Target on 92 and feeling so thankful that they built those puppies all those years ago.

28. Friday night is the night you go to Donovan’s to visit and get a nice pint of Guinness from your favorite bartender.

29. When you use the first baptist church of Woodstock as a reference point for giving directions.

30. That old guy who runs shirtless every single day and I always wonder if people who are just passing by ask if he needs help, but he doesn't cause he's done it everyday since I can remember. #GoOldGuy

31. You saw that white pickup with the huge confederate flag flying off the back.

32. A helicopter came to your school and carried away a student to scare other students from drinking and driving after prom.

33. When you smelled weed every time the coaches made you run the mile in the woods around the baseball field.

34. When telling people that you were "From that Wood, Ho" was totally appropriate in high school.

35. There was a real tragedy when someone hit and killed that wild turkey. #RIPBob

36. When someone painted the "35 m.p.h." sign leaving WHS to say "85 m.p.h." and it looked totally real.

37. When you were terrified every day of being the target of the wrath of the five foot tall, 100 lbs Señora Arnold.

38. Getting dress code violations from Ms. May.

39. The movie theater was the place to hang out middle school days.

40. Avoiding the 200 & 700 hall intersection at all costs.

41. "And have a day that is good."

42. No matter where you go, Woodstock will always be part of you.
