We all have bad days. Sometimes we don't even know what's wrong, we just feel off. Even though our bad days can seem to drag on for weeks, it's important to remember that no matter how bad your bad day is, it only lasts 24 hours. Even on those bad days, there are so many reasons to smile.

1. Walking barefoot in the sand.

2. Hearing your favorite song on the radio.

3. Hershey's milk chocolate.

4. Freshly washed sheets.

5. The smell of new books.

6. Popping bubble wrap.

7. Singing at the top of your lungs in the car.

8. Sliding across the floor in socks.

9. Movie pizza nights.

10. Jumping off the swings.

11. Hot chocolate with whipped cream.

12. Original Disney movies.

13. Gooey chocolate chip cookies.

14. Clouds at sunset.

15. Smiling babies.

16. Going to the zoo.

17. Changing leaves in autumn.

18. Sleeping in.

19. Full house reruns.

20. Looking out the airplane window.

21. A perfect high five.

22. Admiring the stars.

23. A white Christmas.

24. Looking at old photos.

25. Fast wifi.

26. Teacup animals.

No matter how bad a day may seem, there is always a silver lining; there is always something to smile about. When you feel like you've hit rock bottom, remember to look around you and see that there is so around you to be thankful for.

I was asked so many times why I wanted to go to a small school when a big university is so much better. Don't get me wrong, I'm sure a big university is great but I absolutely love going to a small school. I know that I miss out on big sporting events and having people actually know where it is. I can't even count how many times I've been asked where it is and I know they won't know so I just say "somewhere in the middle of Wisconsin." But, I get to know most people at my school and I know my professors very well. Not to mention, being able to walk to the other side of campus in 5 minutes at a casual walking pace. I am so happy I made the decision to go to school where I did. I love my school and these are just a few reasons why.
