40 Thoughts You Have While Packing

Packing is quite possibly the hardest thing you will have to do over the summer. They should really teach a class on it at school. Afterall, how are you supposed to fit your entire life (okay, so like a week's worth) into a single suitcase? It's stressful! Here are some thoughts every girl has while packing for vacation.

  1. Okay, I’m going for seven days so I need seven outfits
  2. Plus at least two extra outfits so I have options
  3. Plus we’ll probably go to a nice dinner one night, better pack a cute dress
  4. And that other dress, because it’s cute too
  5. Plus the shoes that go with it
  6. And the necklace
  7. And the matching earrings
  8. Okay. Covered the basics. Time to move on.
  9. But what if it’s cold?
  10. It gets cold sometimes in the Caribbean, right?
  11. Better pack a pair of jeans
  12. And a sweatshirt
  13. Oh no what if my feet get cold?
  14. Did I already pack sneakers?
  15. Better pack some more, just in case
  16. And I’m DEFINITELY going to work out while I’m on vacation
  17. So I have to bring my running shoes
  18. And some workout clothes
  19. Did I pack underwear?
  20. Did I pack extra underwear?
  21. Did I pack that one bra that I have to wear with that one shirt?
  22. Hey! This is cute! I’m packing it.
  23. What’s the weight limit on suitcases again?
  24. I forgot I just bought this shirt! Packing it.
  25. Okay. Clothes: done.
  26. Swimsuits! Definitely need to pack at least three.
  27. Accessory time! Do I have the matching belt for that outfit?
  28. Oh yeah, can’t forget the purse that goes with this outfit
  29. Wait, did I even pack that outfit?
  30. *Packs it*
  31. Shove every toiletry you’ve ever owned into a plastic bag!
  32. One can simply never have enough hair ties
  33. Okay so I could pack makeup and makeup remover… or I could just look ugly
  34. Oh no what am I going to do while I’m there? Better pack 84 books, 37 movies, 13 magazines, headphones, and a deck of cards
  35. Did I even pack a beach towel?
  36. Why did I choose this suitcase? Things fit much better in the other one
  37. Okay, I think I’m done. I finally have everything.
  38. Perfect timing! We’re leaving in five minutes!
  39. All I have to do is brush my teeth—aaaaaand I packed the toothbrush
  40. There’s no way this will fit in the car
