Taylor Swift has FINALLY made her long awaited comeback after 3 years since her 5th album ("1989") was released and she is back with a bang. Not only has Taylor Swift COMPLETELY changed her image and even her music style, but she's back and better than ever and may or may not have thrown some shade towards a few individuals. Here are 4 of the best examples of shade thrown in her latest single from her new album "reputation" called "Look What You Made Me Do".
1. "I don't like your little games/Don't like your tilted stage/The role you made me play - of the fool/No, I don't like you."
Interestingly enough, Kanye West had a tilted stage during his last tour. It also sounds like Taylor might be referencing the infamous Snapchat videos that Kim Kardashian took in attempt to frame Taylor of lying.
2. "I've got a list of names and yours is in red underlined."
Remember when Katy Perry tweeted, "Watch out for the Regina George in sheep's clothing..."? If you've watched "Mean Girls," you'll know that the famous Burn Book includes Regina George's name in the book and it's underlined in red. Coincidence?
3. Speaking of Mean Girls...
Many people have been quick to point out that this new song includes the beat used in the Halloween scene of "Mean Girls" where Regina George is dressed up as a Playboy bunny.
4. "The old Taylor can't come to the phone right now. Why? Oh, 'cause she's dead."
Is this another reference to the phone call incident? Did Taylor black out all of her social media because the "old Taylor" is dead?
Maybe all of these hints of shade are just a pure coincidence, but knowing Taylor, she is often the queen of subtle shade and she does it oh so well. Now we all have to wait until November 10th to hear what else Taylor has up her sleeves.
