Lately, I have been in this huge "motivational books" kick. I've really been trying for the past few months to reinvent myself and like a better life in all kinds of areas. I haven't really read books for pleasure in a LONG time, but I figured, why not now? I have a range of books from self-help to healthy living to motivation to being fearless. These have honestly changed my way of thinking and I know other people will enjoy them too!
"You are a Badass" by Jen Sincero
Okay, this book is very well known I feel, but rightfully so! You are walked through all of the different steps to stop holding back and to get out there into the world and just live life! The book is split up into 5 parts filled with ways to figure out what is holding you back and how to conquer your fears and be the best you that you can be!
"#Girlboss" by Sophia Amoruso
Sophia Amoruso is the founder and CEO of the company Nasty Gal and her whole book uses her life story to tell how anyone can be a successful business owner like her. She uses her life story to demonstrate to relate to others and her words motivate you so much. If you don't feel like you want to conquer the business world by the end of this book, you clearly did not read it right.
"Skinny Bitch" by Rory Freedman and Kim Barnouin
While yes, the title of this book seems intimidating, trust me it is all meant in a loving way. This book makes me want to get my health on track and stop putting in foods that just aren't good for me. The book is very blunt, but I find that this helps because you really understand the importance of what they are saying.
"Milk and Honey" by Rupi Kaur
This is a book filled with an abundance of poems and stories written about all kinds of things. You find stories about love, loving yourself, pain, heartache and overcoming obstacles. Everything in this book is beautifully written, and so empowering to this generation.
