Halloween is an incredibly fun time of year. Aside from dressing up in different costumes each year, making Halloween treats, decorating, and eating copious amounts of candy (that I will eventually regret later), I am always most excited about watching nostalgic Halloween movies. If you're looking for movies to watch this Halloween, I've listed four for you to check out!


1. "Twitches"

"Twitches" will continue to remain one of my favorite movies to watch on Halloween. It is a Disney Channel Original Movie. The movie takes us on an adventure highlighting the story of twin sisters who were separated at birth but reunite on their 21st birthday. They discover that they have magic powers and use them to save their world from darkness.


2. "Halloweentown"

"Halloweentown" is another Disney Channel Original Movie that follows a girl who discovers that she is a witch. After discovering this, it is up to her to save her town from magical creatures.


3. "The Nightmare Before Christmas"

This movie is a classic from the 90's that focuses on the story of Jack Skellington, the bored mayor of Halloweentown who mistakenly tries to bring Christmas to his hometown.


4. "Hocus Pocus"

This can't be a must-watch Halloween movie list without "Hocus Pocus", right? This movie brings out the nostalgia in all of us. "Hocus Pocus" centers around three witches who are resurrected on Halloween. It is up to Max, Dani, and their magical cat to stop them from becoming immortal.


Happy Halloween everyone! These movies are a lot less terrifying than ordinary horror movies but are perfect for a Halloween night in.
