Four Female British YouTubers You'll Fall In Love With

1. Tanya Burr

Tanya Burr is the girl you want to be your best friend. She is the so genuine and smiley, any one of her videos is guaranteed to brighten your day. Like many of these YouTuber’s on this list, I’ve watched her grow from the beginning as a blogger and writer (Check out her book Love, Tanya) and into an entrepreneur all while staying grounded. Her videos cover beauty, fashion, shopping hauls, make-up tutorials, vlogs (video blogs), and my personal favorite, baking tutorials. As a make-up artist, her make-up tutorials are like none you’ve seen before. She not only knows an extensive amount about make-up products, but she also has her own line of products which are ever-increasing. She recently got married to another fabulous YouTuber, Jim Chapman (Find his channel here), and might I say, they just may be the cutest couple on the planet. I describe them as a sort of young "old married couple" (in the best ways). I would recommend checking her out if you like contagiously happy people.

2. Zoella (A.K.A Zoe Sugg)

One day in my search on the vast interweb, I stumbled across Zoella, the first British YouTuber I’d ever watched. I was new to the whole blogger concept, and even newer to the "vlogger" idea. Needless to say, I’m so glad I found her channel. It started with just her taking into her camera and now she has literally made herself a brand (accessories, etc.). Her channel focuses on shopping hauls, make-up, hair and fashion tutorials, her adorable puppy Nala, and vlogging. She is that friend you want to dress you, do your hair, and then hang out with while you both binge on Netflix. Zoe has been open about her struggle with anxiety (once, even filming herself having an anxiety attack) and her honesty is refreshing. Although, she may look flawless in all of her videos, she in no way tries to pretend that she is perfect. Check out her channel and her recently published book, Girl Online, taking about her journey to success. By the way, she broke the record in England as the highest grossing book sales in her first week on the market (yes, that is including J.K. Rowling), so I think she is worth at least a click.

3. Sprinkle of Glitter (A.K.A. Louise Pentland)

“Aloha Sprinklerinos,” the way you will always be greeted upon watching her videos and it couldn’t be a better way of introducing herself. A blogger, a mother, a writer—Louise is a vibrant person inside and out. With signature pink hair tips and her perfectly glamorous make-up, Louise will inspire you to want to be true to yourself in the way that she is. Her channel includes make-up tutorials, tips and tricks, hauls, and videos with her darling mini-me daughter, Darcy. If you aren’t for glitter and the color pink, I wouldn’t recommend this blog, but if you are anything like me, please check it out. I think that she stands apart as a mother bringing all of her experience and maturity that will give you the courage you need to just be yourself (something she talks all about in her book Life with a Sprinkle of Glitter).

4. Niomi Smart

I can’t even count the number of ways Niomi has inspired me since I’ve started watching her channel. As the years go by, her videos are becoming more focused on healthy living. From the food she eats, to the products she uses, they are all animal and human friendly—and I couldn’t be happier about it. Her channel includes videos about fashion, her favorite stores and products, healthy recipe tutorials, life advice and more. I’ve made more than a few of her delicious, all organic, vegan, gluten-free (did I forget anything?) recipes, and it tasted like something you could buy as whole foods for a few pretty pennies. Her style is unique and classy, and her presence is unbelievably calming. She is one of the most down-to-earth bloggers I’ve ever encountered on YouTube. Her healthy, active lifestyle will inspire you to trade in some of those cookies for quinoa, and maybe hit the gym more often. If you're ready for this journey to begin, check out her channel.

One of the coolest part about all of these YouTubers is that they are all really great friends. They all take turns joining together to make videos, and will even be in each other’s vlogs. I will warn you now, you will want to be part of their friend group, but don't worry, watching their videos is kind of like hanging with them. These are all professional, powerful, wonderful women who connect to their viewers in a way that feels so comforting and authentic. They all bring something different to the table, and have something that makes them special. These bloggers are more than just pretty faces; they are beautiful human beings that have stories to tell. I urge you all to take some time to listen to them.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

These powerful lyrics remind us how much good is inside each of us and that sometimes we are too blinded by our imperfections to see the other side of the coin, to see all of that good.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

The song was sent to me late in the middle of the night. I was still awake enough to plug in my headphones and listen to it immediately. I always did this when my best friend sent me songs, never wasting a moment. She had sent a message with this one too, telling me it reminded her so much of both of us and what we have each been through in the past couple of months.

Zodiac wheel with signs and symbols surrounding a central sun against a starry sky.

What's your sign? It's one of the first questions some of us are asked when approached by someone in a bar, at a party or even when having lunch with some of our friends. Astrology, for centuries, has been one of the largest phenomenons out there. There's a reason why many magazines and newspapers have a horoscope page, and there's also a reason why almost every bookstore or library has a section dedicated completely to astrology. Many of us could just be curious about why some of us act differently than others and whom we will get along with best, and others may just want to see if their sign does, in fact, match their personality.

Being a good person does not depend on your religion or status in life, your race or skin color, political views or culture. It depends on how good you treat others.

We are all born to do something great. Whether that be to grow up and become a doctor and save the lives of thousands of people, run a marathon, win the Noble Peace Prize, or be the greatest mother or father for your own future children one day. Regardless, we are all born with a purpose. But in between birth and death lies a path that life paves for us; a path that we must fill with something that gives our lives meaning.
