Everyone knows that the moment it hits September and the air chills that it's basically fall (the best season EVER) and by default every day is treated like a Halloween-eve. Anything you can consume -- and even things you can't -- is pumpkin spice. You get to break out your sweaters and everyone looks cuter when they layer their clothes.

The thing is just because the days are getting cooler in Cleveland, it doesn't mean that there will be anything to do. Not only is Cleveland and its surrounding areas chock full of things to do any time of the year -- but they are also easy on the wallet (that means you don't have to be trapped in your house or dorm this season).

1. Bloodview Haunted House -- Open weekends, F&Sa 8pm -12am / Su 8pm -10pm

Located in Broadview Heights, Bloodview Haunted House has been a long time family favorite and something I visit every year. For 20 bucks, you can repeat the scares all night long on Fridays and Saturdays, and starting in October, scares on Sundays are only $10 all night.

With 260 reviews on Facebook, almost all of them positive, Bloodview's charm lies in not only its location (it's in an abandoned lot and wooded area far from anything else) but the fact that it uses amateur actors and volunteers for the attraction. With this in their favor, the scares don't seem rehearsed or stale.

2. Seven Floors of Hell -- Open weekends, F&Sa 7pm -12am / Sundays 7pm -10pm

First things first -- this is not a haunted house. It's a haunted COMPLEX. Comprised of seven different haunted houses with completely different themes like Shadows, Mental Ward and Zombies -- there is a lot of screams to be had this fall season in Middleburg Heights.

Seven Floors of Hell has been around for 20 years and is a fall season staple for lovers of all things creepy. Though it leans a little more expensive than other area houses, just remember -- there are seven different houses. Their rates, $25 at the location or $23 online for regular tickets and $35 at the location and $33 online for speed passes, make sense for all of the options depending on what scare you want. The best part of it is that if you don't make it through all seven houses during your initial visit -- you can revisit for free to complete the rest of the houses during their regular season with the same ticket.

3. Berishwill Farms Corn Maze -- Open Tu-Su 11-6pm

Perfect for a cute date or a chill squad outing, Berishwill Farms, located in Valley City which is near Brunswick, has a great and super cheap corn maze experience waiting for you. Spread across 5 acres, the maze holds 2 miles of ways to get super lost. $6 on the weekdays and $8 on the weekends, admission to the maze also gives you access to giant hay piles to climb all over and cute farm animals to pet.

While you're there, pick up a pumpkin to make that perfect jack-o-latern for Halloween!

4. Apple Picking at Patterson Fruit Farm -- Open 9am - 5pm daily

Honestly, I can't tell you how many times I went to this place for apple picking when I was younger. Located in Chesterland, the Patterson Fruit Farm has year round apple picking -- but truthfully who doesn't love the idea of a day out riding hay rides, picking apples and drinking apple cider on a fall day?

No reservations are needed to come and visit the farm and take in its beautiful splendor. Take a sip of apple cider and enjoy some apples, many of which become their tastiest during the fall season.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

These powerful lyrics remind us how much good is inside each of us and that sometimes we are too blinded by our imperfections to see the other side of the coin, to see all of that good.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

The song was sent to me late in the middle of the night. I was still awake enough to plug in my headphones and listen to it immediately. I always did this when my best friend sent me songs, never wasting a moment. She had sent a message with this one too, telling me it reminded her so much of both of us and what we have each been through in the past couple of months.

Zodiac wheel with signs and symbols surrounding a central sun against a starry sky.

What's your sign? It's one of the first questions some of us are asked when approached by someone in a bar, at a party or even when having lunch with some of our friends. Astrology, for centuries, has been one of the largest phenomenons out there. There's a reason why many magazines and newspapers have a horoscope page, and there's also a reason why almost every bookstore or library has a section dedicated completely to astrology. Many of us could just be curious about why some of us act differently than others and whom we will get along with best, and others may just want to see if their sign does, in fact, match their personality.

Being a good person does not depend on your religion or status in life, your race or skin color, political views or culture. It depends on how good you treat others.

We are all born to do something great. Whether that be to grow up and become a doctor and save the lives of thousands of people, run a marathon, win the Noble Peace Prize, or be the greatest mother or father for your own future children one day. Regardless, we are all born with a purpose. But in between birth and death lies a path that life paves for us; a path that we must fill with something that gives our lives meaning.
