Here are 30 T.V shows that made my childhood and set my imagination on fire. Once you look at them, you'll probably know why.
1. Hey, Arnold!

The show where a football headed boy gets raised by his grandma and grandpa in a boarding house with many people that he sees as his family. But the most hilarious character was Helga for me. Her constant “hhaa!” while she fans herself in the corner going over her undeniable love for Arnold. My one question is how was she never caught confessing her undying love for Arnold by anyone other than Brainy, whose parents must pay a fortune in glasses.
2. Rugrats

Babies with the ability to talk to each other and go on adventure??? It was one of the cool shows for me because as a kid I often wondered if babies had this ability. Did I have this ability? Anyway, the Oscar for the best lies clearly goes to Angelica.
3. Angry Beavers

Angry Beavers had the usual relationship between siblings. They argued, went to war, then back to sitting on the couch watching tv together. Occasionally go out to and hang with their other woodland creatures. My favorite character was Dag, his brother always outsmarted him and put on his best drama king performance
4. Grim Adventures of Billy and Mandy

This is one of my absolute favorites and I was so sad when it was canceled. How could “death” allow two kids to push him around! Mandy was my favorite character I often imagined her wearing all black when she grows up instead of that pink dress that conflicted with her emotions. Well, the one emotion she did give off. Hilarious show all the way around.
5. Codename Kids Next Door

Again one of my favorite shows! I use to imagine being an operative awaiting orders to take down the adults! (Hilarious I know). But I often thought about what number I would have and how would kids make contraptions out of bubble gum, wood, tooth paste, and peanut butter. Number five was my favorite and number one came at a close second.
6. Original Pokemon

The original Pokemon gang will always be my one and only favorite Pokemon! You know the one! Where Brock fell in love with any and every pretty girl he meet; and sadly Misty ended up pulling him away from his true love of the minute. The one where Pikachu and Ash was just getting to know each other and the epic battles just began. The one where Ash was turned to stone and every single Pokemon he had was sad. We all cried as Pikachu tried his hardest to bring Ash back by shocking him just like the good ole days. This was THE Pokemon and everything after it will never be good enough.
7. Original Teen Titans

The original Teen Titans were THE teen titans and the new one is crap in comparison. Of course they were way smarter, went on actual missions, and were full size. My favorite part has to be when Robin was X. It shattered my heart that my number one sidekick betrayed my trust like that. But it was pretty awesome nonetheless. The most angry episode was when Blackfire tried to marry Starfire off to a slimy blob. Ew.
8. Doug

Doug Funny. Weird name for a weird kid. But I like him because he had a crazy imagination just like mine. Qual man was proof of that. But my one pet peeve was when was Doug and Patty going to officially become an item? I mean he was really working for it but never said a thing to the condiment that I find in my fridge aka Mayo. However, Skeeter was my favorite character because he was funny. Funny wasn’t funny. Don’t argue with me just accept it.
9. Johnny Bravo

Johnny Bravo was the ultimate wanna be player. Hoping from girl to girl but almost always getting beaten up by that girl. I use to feel bad for him getting embarrassed in front of many people. But he was cool enough to have his own dance. That has to count for something, right.
10. Ahhhh Real Monsters!

I woke up early between my third-grade year and fourth-grade year just so I can catch this before going to school! (When it was on during the week). I use to love this show. While everyone complained that monsters were scary I called them a baby and said they were awesome. Krumm was my favorite character because he was so unique! I mean he has to keep his hands in the air just to keep his eyes in his hands and see everything. It was funny when he lost his eye and it would still be blinking. I even had my mother watching it with me.
11. All That!

“Alllllll of uuuuusssss! Is aaaaalllll that! This is aaaalllll thattttt!” Growing up I use to think this was such a cool and funny show. Even had my oldest brother watching it with me from time to time. These kids with these corny yet hilarious skits tickled me pink. I admit I still watch it from time to time. It taught me to be who you want to be, even if it’s crazy.
12. Batman

Batman the animated series is what got me into watching batman to begin with. His dramatic storm offs to fight crime turning his cape is such a dramatic flare. I like it though. But it kind of showed me anybody can be super even without powers if you have money to fund your superness. Bruce had a million dollar empire and access to the latest technology. Me? I have classes in the morning and a job directly after. No superhero fights for me.
13. CatDog

I use to love this show so much! But it caused a lot of questions for me. Like who were their parents? How do they go to the bathroom? If they share a belly and if they both are eating full dinners how are they not fat all the time? Only one of my questions was answered throughout the series which was ‘who were their parents’. But that answer led me to more questions like how does a frog with a giant nose and bigfoot give birth to them? Crazy I know.
14. Courage The Cowardly Dog

I felt so bad for poor courage. Always having to bail the old couple out of trouble especially when one hates his guts. If it was up to me I would have left Eustace to get killed or kidnapped a long time ago. But he was a pretty smart efficient dog. Cooks, cleans, drives, and bails you out of trouble. Wish I had a dog like that.
15. Dexter's Laboratory

Dexter’s Laboratory was one of those shows I just enjoyed watching a smart kid get sometimes outsmarted by his “not so smart” sister. But come on everyone wants a genius brother that could build them a working battle armor, a transformer, or a rocket to the moon. But then I might get tired of being talked down too so I’ll keep the brothers I have they are pretty great. Just don’t tell them that.
16. Static Shock

A black (it’s not about race guys but I like one that I could relate to as a kid) teenage superhero that had the ability to control static was awesome! And had the ability to float on a silver flying saucer! His best friend turns into his sidekick which builds their friendship stronger. They were awesome. I loved them both and couldn’t pick a favorite character.
17. Digimon

Digimon Digital monsters! I loved this show! My favorite in the first season was Tai. He was sometimes selfish but fought fiercely for his friends especially T.K. which reminded him of his little sister. Everybody cried when Angemon died to protect T.K.
But Digimon Frontier when new kids had the power to turn into Digimon was my favorite season. Koiji was my favorite character of all time! Someone who was so closed off felt like he was missing something turned out to have the biggest heart when Tommy got hurt.
18. Ed, Edd, and Eddy

Let’s be honest here Eddy was the mastermind even though Edd was the smartest one. How this get rich over night scheming man got a genius like Edd (double D) to fall for his tricks is beyond me. My favorite character was Sarah though. How could someone so small pack a punch so big??
19. Recess

Woah! This show made me wish school had recess like this. But then the kindergarteners sounded like mini monsters. It was hilarious but overall a fun show. But geesh, did they need so many Ashleys? This show showed me how to spot a suck up.
20. Ren and Stimpy

This show was actually introduced to me by my cousin (you should know who you are) and I thought it was hilarious from the start. Ren, a chihuahua, and Stimpy, a cat, always knew how to keep me laughing. But I often felt bad for Stimpy always being the outlet for Ren’s aggression no matter how clueless he was.
21. Rocket Power

Rocket power made me want to surf the waves and hang loose. When I would mention it to my mother her response was always the same. “Sure, but just remember I like having four children.” (Also known as you can’t swim very well and I don’t want you to drown). I didn’t but it was cool to see kids that mastered everything from surfing, skateboarding, dirt biking etc.
22. Rocko's Modern Life

Rocko’s Modern Life! This show was pretty good. I use to call the toads butthead (even though it was "Bighead"). But to be honest, if I had neighbors like him I would have moved back to Australia a long time ago.
23. Sailor Moon

“Fighting evil by the moon light! Winning love by the day light! Never running from a real fight! She is the one name Sailor Moon!” This was the top favorite show for me and I loved it! I begged my mother for the first Sailormoon pen because the new ones didn’t do the old one justice. Tuxedo Mask was my first boyfriend and we had to call it splits when he had a baby with Sailor Moon. My heart will always love him.
24. The Wild Thornberrys

First off they have the coolest lives ever! The dad host the nature shows and her mom shoots it! They travel all around the world with their family and are homeschool so they don’t miss anything. But the kicker was talking Eliza talks to animals! I always wondered what animals thought about us humans. It was a cool power but not better than controlling static.
25. Kim Possible

“Call me, beep me if you wanna reach me! When you wanna page me it’s okay! Whenever you need me, baby! (Call me, beep me if you wanna reach me!)” First off girl power all the way! First show I saw where the female wasn’t the sidekick the male was. She had no powers, nothing that separated her from the average girl. Well besides her gymnastic abilities, cheerleading career, and self-defense classes. Obviously Kim possible was my first favorite then it was Ruffus, last Ron. But if I had twin younger brothers like Kim’s I would have put them in the head lock mandatory three times a day. Double on Christmas.
26. As Told By Ginger

“Someone once told me the grass was much greener! On the other side!” I thought this was a nice show about teenagers changing and trying to find their way through school and becoming who they were. It taught me that it’s okay to struggle to find who you are. It happens to all of us. Ginger was my favorite character (and not because I like her ginger hair). She was sweet, always there for her friends even if it came at a cost.
27. Original Power Puff Girls

“Love, love, love lala love! Lala Love! Makes the world goes round!” I was really young when I first saw them and I remember asking my mom is sugar and spice and everything nice was what I was made of. Her response was yes but you have more curiosity than they do. And I added cinnamon for color. (She was making french toast at the time and put cinnamon on my nose to make a point. I giggled so hard at that. But hey I was a kid). My favorite was Buttercup and her can do attitude, and need to handle the problems they face the hard quick way.
28. Dragon Ball Z

Goku was a boss! First and foremost. He could whoop anyone's butt even his own brother for the sake of Earth and those he love. Favorite battle was Gohan vs Frieza. Gohan was a prodigy and mastered super saiyan level flawlessly and used it to toy with Frieza until his demise. He was my favorite character until future Trunks came into the picture. But Goku will always be the real MVP of Dragon Ball Z, sorry, Vegeta.
29. Naruto

Naruto comes right after Sailor Moon and just before Dragon Ball Z. Naruto was such a sad soul to me. Everyone turned their back on him because of the creature he had inside of him. His parents gave their life to save their baby’s life and the child of hero and everyone treated him like trash. His one dream was to be recognized by the village and be Hokage. But along the way of proving himself worthy, he changed the hearts of many and saved many as well. Naruto went from a lost child pulling pranks to get attention and or noticed, to someone that defended the very people who hated him and lent out his power for them to be successful.
30. Beyblade/ V-Force

Tyson, Max, Kai, and Ray had bit beast in their beyblade which caused them to be undefeated in the match up. Kai was my first favorite character with his wit, his sarcasm, and can do attitude. Kai and Dranzer was a force to be reckoned with and I loved it. Ray was my second favorite character because he was just too cool for me. I made my mom buy me the first three beyblades (Dragoon, Dranzer, Driger) and battled my brother for the boss of the house title. I even signed up for beyblade battles and competed. I was a tomboy needless to say.
