I love kids. And I love babysitting. There are days when the kids I babysit can be perfect little angels, but there are other days when they can drive me up a wall. But no matter what, babysitting is the best job I've ever had. If you're a babysitter like me, maybe you've had some of these thoughts.
1. I’m going to make today a good day.
2. Even though she can be a bit much to handle sometimes, the pay is worth it.
3. I’m so glad I don’t work retail anymore.
4. Little kids are easier to deal with than cranky, old customers.
5. I don’t feel like playing right now; I’ll just sit here and watch the kids play.
6. I hope there isn’t a hidden camera in this room.
7. They would think I’m just a lazy babysitter.
8. That isn’t true though; I played tag with them outside before.
9. And I did arts and crafts with them.
10. We could watch another episode of "Mickey Mouse Clubhouse" instead of playing Barbies for the fifth time today.
11. Maybe it’s an episode we haven’t seen, although I think I’ve seen every episode.
12. Oh wait, I definitely didn’t see this episode where the clubhouse loses all the color!
13. Ah yes, Princess Sofia is on next.
14. Do we have to go back outside? This is my favorite episode.
15. Please eat your lunch; if you don’t eat, you get cranky.
16. Not one more bite; three more bites of your pizza if you want a snack later
17. Do you think anyone would notice if I ate some of these potato chips?
18. Maybe I’ll eat some Oreos (there’s still a lot in this package), they won’t notice.
19. Why don’t you kids take a nap? Don’t kids like naps?
20. How do you remember the name of every stuffed animal and Barbie doll?
21. Sorry I called your doll by the wrong name.
22. Please just share with your sister. You aren’t even playing with that doll.
23. We just put on this Disney movie; maybe we could watch at least 10 minutes.
24. Please stop running; I don’t want you to get hurt.
25. Don’t make me call mommy and daddy.
26. Oh yes, I’m sure mommy said you could have as many cookies as you wanted.
27. Is it nap time yet? Oh right, you don’t take naps.
28. Don’t touch me with your paint-covered hands.
29. I didn’t have an iPad when I was your age.
30. You’re lucky you’re cute.
