30 Reasons You Know You're Obsessed With Friends

It's a known fact that "Friends" is indisputably the best thing to ever happen to cable TV, and when they put it on Netflix your heart was warmed—unless you were one of the few who had already spent a fortune on the box set. You have such an undying passion for the show, so much so that coping with the fact that you don't hang out at Central Perk on the daily is an everyday struggle and you just want to be graced by the luminous blonde hair of everyone's favorite barista. You've seen every episode a minimum of five times, and you have favorites that you can quote from start to finish. Some people would say you have a sickness, and maybe therapist recommendations have been made, but it's fine because if you're going to be obsessed with a show there's none better than this 90's phenomenon. Here are 30 reasons you know you're obsessed (even though you could probably come up with about 100 more):

1. You hate Emily more than you should ever hate a television character.

2. You cried when Monica and Chandler got engaged.

3. And also when Ross and Rachel broke up.

4. Oh, and when Rachel got off the plane.

5. The episode when Joey accidentally proposed to Rachel made you question your mental stability.

6. But you also cringe at the thought of Joey and Rachel together.

7. You knew Paul Rudd before the world knew Paul Rudd.

8. You would consider changing your name to Princess Consuela Banana Hammock...or Crap Bag.

9. You are continuously looking for your "lobster."

10. You’re still wondering when they’re going to do that reunion episode.

11. You've used the word "phalange" in an everyday setting, but this is what it actually means:

12. You have memorized all of the answers to the trivia episode when Monica and Rachel lose their apartment.

13. You’ve considered modeling your place after Rachel and Monica’s.

14. You want to hate Julie, but she’s just so nice.

15. You always wonder what happened to Ben as the episodes go on.

16. You've definitely seen this picture, and if not, you're welcome:

17. You too are a neat guy.

18. You’ve always wanted to learn Ross and Monica’s routine.

19. It's okay that you've considered getting a chick and a duck.

20. When Emily wanted Ross to cut all ties with Rachel, you took it personally.

21. You always try to assign your friend group to the characters in the show.

22. You actually don’t understand how someone could not like this show, it’s like them saying they don’t like your friends.

23. You want to make a Geller Cup and actually give it to the winner of a football game.

24. You feel like you have the total control and sense of Unagi.

25. Whenever you see it on the menu you can’t help but to think of Ross.

26. Phoebe definitely wasn’t bullshitting when she found her mom in a cat.

27. You’ve always wanted to try on wedding dresses and drink beer with your besties.

28. You cringe just as much as they do every time they ever hear Janice’s famous words.

29. You honestly just want to get a meatball sub with Joey.

30. Ross, Monica, Rachel, Phoebe, Joey and Chandler are your friends, too. When they hurt, you hurt, and when they're happy, you're happy.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

These powerful lyrics remind us how much good is inside each of us and that sometimes we are too blinded by our imperfections to see the other side of the coin, to see all of that good.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

The song was sent to me late in the middle of the night. I was still awake enough to plug in my headphones and listen to it immediately. I always did this when my best friend sent me songs, never wasting a moment. She had sent a message with this one too, telling me it reminded her so much of both of us and what we have each been through in the past couple of months.

Zodiac wheel with signs and symbols surrounding a central sun against a starry sky.

What's your sign? It's one of the first questions some of us are asked when approached by someone in a bar, at a party or even when having lunch with some of our friends. Astrology, for centuries, has been one of the largest phenomenons out there. There's a reason why many magazines and newspapers have a horoscope page, and there's also a reason why almost every bookstore or library has a section dedicated completely to astrology. Many of us could just be curious about why some of us act differently than others and whom we will get along with best, and others may just want to see if their sign does, in fact, match their personality.

Being a good person does not depend on your religion or status in life, your race or skin color, political views or culture. It depends on how good you treat others.

We are all born to do something great. Whether that be to grow up and become a doctor and save the lives of thousands of people, run a marathon, win the Noble Peace Prize, or be the greatest mother or father for your own future children one day. Regardless, we are all born with a purpose. But in between birth and death lies a path that life paves for us; a path that we must fill with something that gives our lives meaning.
