Here are three tips on how to make yours productive!

1. Use a planner

Planners are a great way to keep everything you need to do in check, especially if you have a lot of things planned during the summer. If you are going to summer school or have a really intense summer internship or job, it is better to keep a daily planner, because it gives you more space to write things down.

However, if you aren't doing as much during the summer, monthly planners are great. You can see everything you have planned for the entire month right in front of you, which is great for staying mindful of what you have planned and things you have to get done.

2. Set goals

I firmly believe that goals, and writing them down are incredibly important. The summer is the perfect time to focus on your goals and take time to achieve things you didn't have time to do during the school year.

Not only that, but having goals and accomplishing them during the summer makes you feel so accomplished! It's so great to end the summer knowing that you've achieved things!!

3. Create to-do lists

To do lists are great, especially if you're not doing a ton during the summer and don't have too many busy days. To do lists are so great, and satisfying! It's a way to have everything you need to do down, and a place to check it off when you're done. They help you stay on track and reminded about what you need to do during the day, and always make sure you get everything done. Also, if you have really chill days during the summer you can make a to do list for your week which works just as well!

Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.
