29 Songs from the Early 2000s You Still Know Every Word To
Forever Twenty Somethings

1. It's Gonna Be Me: NSYNC

You know this was your original boy band crush and you have no regrets

2. It Wasn't Me: Shaggy feat. RikRok

It wasn't until later that you really listen to the lyrics and had to take a moment. It's catchy, though...

3. Too Little, Too Late: JoJo

JoJo had a stronghold on the early 2000's. The real question is what happened to her?

4. Gold Digger: Kayne West

Back in a time where we questioned West a little less

5. Don't Trust Me: 3Oh!3

This song is pretty self-explanatory, but also catchy. This is one of those songs you just sang under your breath on your iPod shuffle and hoped for the best.

6. Hey Ya!: Outkast

Though this song uses little words it still ended up being one of your favorites. Don't lie

7. Hot In Herre: Usher

You knew what this song was about and you really didn't feel bad about knowing every word even back when it came out.

8. The Real Slim Shady: Eminem

You were the real champion if you knew every word to this song and you still don't mind jamming to this every once in awhile.

9. Complicated: Avril Lavigne

I never had boy problems at this age, but I imagine this is the song I would jam too.

10. Let Me Love You: Mario

This is a classic. End of story.

11. Whatever You Like: T.I.

Another song that you didn't really care what the lyrics meant. You still listened to this song on a loop.

12. Hollaback Girl: Gwen Stefani

This song just made you feel like a badass, there is no denying it. Plus, you learned how to spell bananas and you catch yourself singing the song when you write it out.

13. Move Along: All-American Rejects

This song somehow made its way into every movie at the time. But that wasn't really a problem because it's just that good.

14. Sexyback: Justin Timberlake

This is common theme here, the lyrics are self-explanatory but come on! It's freaking JT!!

15. Somebody Told Me: The Killers

"Well somebody told me, you had a boyfriend..." Do I have your wheels turning yet?

16. Face Down: The Red Jumpsuit Apparatus

Another song that seemed to make it in a lot of movies at the time.

17. I Write Sins Not Tragedies: Pan!ic At The Disco

I don't know about you, but I always really got into this song. Air microphone and everything, this was an all out occasion.

18. Lose Yourself: Eminem

Are you shocked that he made the list again? This song gets you ready for every state championship game to date or anything honestly. Mic Drop.

19. 100 Years: Five For Fighting

This song is guaranteed to get you into your feels. But you just don't care and sing along anyways.

20. Dilemma: Nelly feat. Kelly Rowland

As most songs, I was too young for it to apply to me. It all makes sense now though.

21. Mad: Ne-Yo

This song screams emotions. Like we feel you, Ne-Yo.

22. Your Body Is A Wonderland: John Mayer

His voice alone can make you fall in love. It doesn't help that all of his songs talk about love.

23. My Love: Justin Timberlake

Back at it again on the list. Shhhhhhh..... It's JT.

24. Over and Over: Nelly

Common theme is emerging. Love sucks and heartbreak sucks.

25. Breakaway: Kelly Clarkson

It feels like Kelly just gets you, on a spiritual level. You are the true American Idol

26. Without Me: Eminem

Guess who's back? There is no contest with this man for this category.

27. Island In The Sun: Wheezer

If this song doesn't make you feel better, I'm just sorry.

28. Beautiful Girls: Sean Kingston

This song is all kinds of right and extremely hard not to sing along with.

29. Sunday Morning: Maroon 5

Sing to us, Adam. Need I say more?

Though this is a rather short list, it still probably took you down memory lane. Man, I really wish it was still the early 2000s.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

These powerful lyrics remind us how much good is inside each of us and that sometimes we are too blinded by our imperfections to see the other side of the coin, to see all of that good.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

The song was sent to me late in the middle of the night. I was still awake enough to plug in my headphones and listen to it immediately. I always did this when my best friend sent me songs, never wasting a moment. She had sent a message with this one too, telling me it reminded her so much of both of us and what we have each been through in the past couple of months.

Zodiac wheel with signs and symbols surrounding a central sun against a starry sky.

What's your sign? It's one of the first questions some of us are asked when approached by someone in a bar, at a party or even when having lunch with some of our friends. Astrology, for centuries, has been one of the largest phenomenons out there. There's a reason why many magazines and newspapers have a horoscope page, and there's also a reason why almost every bookstore or library has a section dedicated completely to astrology. Many of us could just be curious about why some of us act differently than others and whom we will get along with best, and others may just want to see if their sign does, in fact, match their personality.

Being a good person does not depend on your religion or status in life, your race or skin color, political views or culture. It depends on how good you treat others.

We are all born to do something great. Whether that be to grow up and become a doctor and save the lives of thousands of people, run a marathon, win the Noble Peace Prize, or be the greatest mother or father for your own future children one day. Regardless, we are all born with a purpose. But in between birth and death lies a path that life paves for us; a path that we must fill with something that gives our lives meaning.
