It's no secret that we as humans love, want, and need attention. Whether it be from a boyfriend, a girlfriend, a husband, a wife, or just a crush, giving someone your attention is the greatest gift of all. In the social-media-obsessed world we live in, temptation is everywhere, and sometimes it feels good to be reassured that the person you care for/love still feels the same way about you. No, it doesn't take an expensive date, or a huge present to show someone you care about them--all it takes is a compliment. But lately when I hear someone compliment a person, it's solely on the way they look. "You're so hot" and "You're beatiful" are nice to hear sometimes, don't get me wrong, but complimenting a person on something other than their overall beauty is so much more flattering. Always remember that there is so much more to a person than their looks, even if that is the first thing that catches your eye.
