25 stages of trying to lose weight

1. You notice you've got a little pudge going on.

2. You devise a plan to kill all your body fat by working out and eating right.

3. You start following fitness gurus on all social media platforms.

4. You wake up ready to conquer the first day of dieting and working out.

5. You're going to the gym

6. You think, "this isn't so bad..." but then this happens:

7. You quickly realize just how out of shape you are.

8. You've underestimated the workout

9. You're leaving the gym and you're starving.

10. You think about gorging yourself with cake. I mean, you earned it, right?

11. You tell yourself you did not work hard just to gain it all back

12. But You're disappointed by the healthy alternative

13. You expect some changes when you look in the mirror the next day

14. And you're walking like a newborn giraffe

15. When people ask you how you're doing you try to be positive.

16. Working out is even harder now that you're sore.

17. The last set is always the worst

17. You start to wonder if all of this is even worth it

18. And people are always asking you to go out to eat

19. And it seems tempting because:

20. There is seriously temptation everywhere

21. You remember how happy you were when you didn't care

22. But then you think about how happy you'll be when you accomplish your goal

23. Eventually, things get easier

24. People start to notice your body changing

25. And you remember why you started.

The process of trying to lose weight and eat right is a struggle. But if you stay strong, you'll be thankful for all the torture you put yourself through. Keep up the good work!

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

These powerful lyrics remind us how much good is inside each of us and that sometimes we are too blinded by our imperfections to see the other side of the coin, to see all of that good.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

The song was sent to me late in the middle of the night. I was still awake enough to plug in my headphones and listen to it immediately. What's your sign? It's one of the first questions some of us are asked when approached by someone in a bar, at a party or even when having lunch with some of our friends. Astrology, for centuries, has been one of the largest phenomenons out there. Being a good person does not depend on your religion or status in life, your race or skin color, political views or culture. It depends on how good you treat others.

We are all born to do something great. Whether that be to grow up and become a doctor and save the lives of thousands of people, run a marathon, win the Noble Peace Prize, or be the greatest mother or father for your own future children one day. Regardless, we are all born with a purpose. But in between birth and death lies a path that life paves for us; a path that we must fill with something that gives our lives meaning.
